   To simplify, think of it this way: Manchester City played with muscle, while Real Madrid played with brain. Even though The City might have been the better team overall, sometimes being just a bit better isn't enough to secure a win in a tough match like this. That's when you've got to cross your fingers and hope luck is on your side.

    Madrid actually dominated City, which is even funnier. No main GK, two main CB with ACL injury, no defensive midfielder and no starting striker yet guys over 30 like Carvajal, Nacho and Rüdiger were the ones keeping Grealish, Foden, Silva and Haaland silent for almost the entire game. City generated an embarassing 2.7 xG in 33 shots over 120 minutes. RM forced City wide all game and City despite passing the ball a thousand times, did not know how to penetrate into the box. Doku was the only one who truly made the difference and created clear cut chances that were not solely influenced by mistakes from defenders. Even Henry said that City barely had clear cut chances. They were mostly generated from small mistakes by Madrid. I remember Man City parking the bus against Atleti after being up a goal and no one complained. Man City scored the same amount of goals as Real Madrid over both legs. Madrid put up a 90s Italian defensive masterclass. They won the pen shootout because of Rüdiger, Kepa and Lunin, they won on a tactical level. Madrid dominated both legs by scoring early and taking the lead or scoring quick after Man City scored. Man City never led in the tie for more than 10 minutes, over 2 matches. They were constantly chasing the score whilst Madrid when scoring were able to defend their lead for way longer. Madrid were actually better offensively for scoring goals with less chances and defensively for not allowing to be scored against despite City's posession. Having the ball most of the time and playing like clowns with 33 shots resulting in 1 goal sounds worse than old school Italian defending. The only one I truly respect, is suprisingly Doku. He wasn't tapdancing then passing the ball back unlike Grealish but actually risked losing the ball by creating bigger chances.

    Once they get sold these are the players should be sign based on their positions on or before July 2027.

    Left Back: Alphonso Davies, Miguel Gutierrez
    
    Centre Back: William Saliba, Leny Yoro, Dean Huijsen
    
    Main Striker: Kylian Mbappe

    Lastly Real Madrid must never offer a contract to these players for a RIGHT BACK position, that are inconsistent regardless of age, poor defensively, has disadvantage of height and strength (lacks muscles), proven already that unable to stop wingers/strikers in different leagues, injury-prone, has beyond 60 million euro's transfer-market value, and ageing 27 years old and above, and turning 27 years old and above on year 2027. We are referring to Walker (33), Trippier (33), Di Lorenzo (30), Cancelo (29), Dumfries (27), White (26), Mazraoui (26), Wan-Bissaka (26), Alexander-Arnold (25), Hakimi (25), Tomiyasu (25), Royal (25), Dalot (25), Porro (24), James (24), Frimpong (23), Couto (21), Livramento (21), Bradley (20), Sanchez (20), Lewis (19) and Fresneda (19).
