Her sparkly, multi-colored designs were informed by the work of a number of contemporary artists, and so was the space where she showed her work. Prada commissioned artists Gabriel Specter, El Mac, Pierre Mornet, Stinkfish, and Jeanne Detallante to interpret the themes of femininity, representation, power, and multiplicity. A number of the dresses and fur coats had the faces of the women in those artworks applied to them, and others were affixed with trompe l’oeil bustiers covered in glittering plastic stones.

Presented at Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashion Week on June 24th, the Songzio show offers a striking exploration of resilience, internal composure, and protective elegance. Creative director Jay Song reinterprets historical Korean archetypes into futuristic, living sculptures designed to shield and empower the wearer in an unpredictable world.
The collection bridges traditional Korean hanbok elements with radical, modern garbing architecture. Key details include reimagined git (traditional removable collars), deep slit necklines, and dramatic bias-cut paneling that balance structural tension with fluid motion.
Swelling raglan-dolman sleeves, cocoon silhouettes, and high-waisted shell-like leather trousers create a striking interplay between upper-body tension and lower-body volume. A rich tactile dialogue emerges through contrasting materials – juxtaposing habotai silk, organza, and linen with metallic surfaces, shimmery vinyl, and intentionally crushed leathers.
Rooted in dramatic black and ivory, the palette comes alive with painterly flashes of sage, citron, berry, and ink.

I can watch this show a million times. It's not just my favorite ss2014 runway, but one of my all time favorite. The pieces (clothing and accesories) are works of art. The coats are a f***ing dream. Damn :'(

There are ugly things BUT at least 1/4 of this has incredible pieces The green dress and face skirt, the pink coat an the one on Lindsey Wixson are just a few examples. the accesories are so fun and incredible.
