The Italian businessman Flavio Briatore is the manager of two Formula 1 racing teams. He was born in Verzuolo Italy in the Maritime Alps. The first Formula One race attended by Briatore was the Australian Grand Prix in 1988. After previously working under Luciano Benetton, founder of the Benetton clothing company, Benetton proclaimed him the commercial director of his Formula 1 team, Benetton Formula Ltd. He was promoted to managing director and helped turn Benetton into a competing team. The team became Renault F1 in 2002 and Briatore helped find famed race car driver Fernando Alonso. Besides race cars, Briatore also has an interest in fashion.

For S/S 2027, designer Simone Botte turns to childhood memories, raw DIY punk ethos, and zero-energy upcycling for the latest Simon Cracker collection: “”Via Francia.””
Rooted in the belief that true luxury lies in creativity rather than high price tags, the collection draws on a summer in Romagna spent creating theater costumes from discarded tablecloths, granny skirts, and vintage curtains.
On the runway, this nostalgic “”playroom-wardrobe”” unfolds through modular, transformable garments that let wearers redefine their silhouettes with hooks and shifting shapes.
Hand-assembled without electricity, the lineup pairs 18th-century “”poor couture”” shapes, deadstock paisley, and plastic-coated leathers with promotional t-shirts merged into elegant gowns.
Hand-painted Dr. Martens, 3D-printed bags made from recycled filaments, and earrings crafted from salvaged beach plastic round out a deeply personal, anti-system showcase that celebrates freedom, individuality, and radical sustainability.

At Daylight Studio during New York Fashion Week, Private Policy unveiled its S/S 2027 collection, “”Stitched, Not Blended.””
Rejecting the pressure to force cultural compromise, co-creative directors Haoran Li and Siying Qu explore how two distinct worlds can coexist in complete wholeness, using New York basketball culture and its massive Mandarin-speaking global fanbase as a powerful metaphor for youth living between cultures.
The collection brings this philosophy to life through sharp contrast: structured, court-inspired outerwear meets fluid organza layers, while deconstructed basketball jerseys, varsity-stripe ribbing, and tailored suits feature exposed, heavy-gauge contrast stitching that holds the garments together.
Nylon utility track pants, oversized bomber jackets, and convertible zip-off sleeves sit alongside refined Mandarin collar shirting and metallic hardware details.
Instead of blending elements into a uniform hybrid, Private Policy allows each fabric, silhouette, and cultural reference to retain its true identity, held in place by visible, resilient seams.

Grazie Flavio ci hai dato un personaggio nel quale ci possiamo identificare…..personalmente dalla prima intervista come direttore della Benetton alla transmissione grand prix di Andrea de Adamich su italia uno…..ricordo ancora la tua risposta a come era la tua giornata-tipo " mi alzo alle 6 della mattina faccio un ora di corsa in giardino perche considero la forma fisica molto importante…poi faccio colazione e vada al lavoro in elicottero se c ' e' bel tempo se piove vado in macchina " …oggi e ' il 15 giugno 2021 ,l ' intervista era della fine 1990 inizio 1991 sono passati 30 e passa anni…..Grazie Flavio!!!. Nel 1995 anch io lasciai l Italia per sempre…..e per favore chiedi a Mediaset di pubblicare in Youtube l intervista di allora….
