http://www.FashionTV.com/videos RIO DE JANEIRO – TNG, directed by Tito Bessa Jr., showcased its Spring/Summer 2013 collection at Fashion Rio based on the art of radiography. Radiography, of course, is the the use of X-rays to see non-uniformed composed material such as the human body. Radiography inspiration meant light and transparency in this collection, with the obvious references in the first half. This season, the denim at TNG was exception with a masculine hand mixed with laser to reduce the water in the final product. Colored denim was also a highlight here and the colors in general were pushed to the limit with bold and bright hues.

Willy Chavarria: Radical Tenderness for S/S 27 | Paris Men Fashion Week

Published

on

Find out how street culture meets sacred elegance in the S/S 2027 collection of Willy Chavarria on FashionTV! Presented under the iconic modernist dome of Parisโ€™s Espace Niemeyer, Willy Chavarria unveiled his S/S 2027 collection, titled “Comunion.”

Moving away from the confrontational urgency of past seasons, the New York-based designer exchanged overt political protest for an emotionally charged exploration of warmth, human dignity, and collective gathering.

Chavarria transformed his signature Chicano street-tailoring into an elevated statement of optimism and fluid intimacy. In response to Paris’s summer heat, hyper-masculine tailoring was softened with slithery satin layers, open shirting, and exposed boxer waistbands, contrasting sharply against prim, elevated womenswear and voluminous floral coats.

Nostalgic domestic motifs, evoking faded kitchen walls, hand-stitched handkerchiefs, and pillowcase florals, were rendered in vibrant hues of “Willy Red,” “Purple Cielo,” and “Copper Green.”

Willy Chavarria evolved his color language this season, softening his signature palette with mint-green leather Bermuda shorts, butter-yellow shirtdresses, and gauzy floral topcoats and evening gowns. Among the standout looks was a ’70s-inspired printed Oxford shirt, subtly accented with โ€œCasa de Chavarriaโ€ lettering, worn by Bella Freud.

Anchored by a star-studded cast including Romeo Beckham and Jordan Clarkson, and debuted alongside a subversive Ugg footwear collaboration, the show proved that true dignity and community remain high fashionโ€™s ultimate act of resistance.

Yuima Nakazato: Inseparable Opposites For F/W 26-27 | Paris Haute Couture Week

Published

on

Where volcanic fire meets the deep blue sea: witness the breathtaking, high-tech ten-year anniversary showcase of Yuima Nakazato’s fall/winter 2026โ€“2027 collection on FashionTV!

Marking ten years as the sole Japanese couture Maison on the official calendar, Nakazato delivered “Sea of Fire Inferno” that seamlessly fuses the volcanic, raw nature of the Canary Islands with the centuries-old performance traditions of Japanese theater. The collection is grounded in the philosophical concept of duality, inspired by the cliffs of Tenerife, where crashing black ocean swells violently clash with arid lava rock.

To express these paired yet opposing forces – fire and water, sun and moon – Nakazato drew inspiration from monogi, a traditional costume-changing technique in theatrical Noh and Kyogen drama, in which performers transform in full view of the audience.

Five performers graced the stage in garments engineered entirely from flat rectangles, echoing the structural DNA of the Japanese kimono. In a mesmerizing display of transformation, the garments shifted from ocean blue to fiery red before the audience’s eyes, altering each silhouette’s physical presence to reflect the passage of time and the shifting elements.

The duality extended into the brandโ€™s signature ceramic dress, “Fragile Armor,” subverting the traditional, conflict-driven concept of protective gear into something beautifully delicate.

Stephane Rolland: Between Light and Vertigo for F/W 26-27 | Paris Haute Couture Week

Published

on

Experience the ultimate fusion of music, memory, and high fashion by watching the full Stephane Rolland fall/winter 2026-27 couture show on FashionTV! This deeply poetic F/W 2026โ€“2027 collection that paid homage to one of the most enigmatic icons of twentieth-century stage, Dalida.

The runway collection transcended traditional fashion storytelling, translating the Egyptian-born, Italian-rooted French legend’s complex life into living architectural art. Rollandโ€™s vision traced Dalidaโ€™s journey from her early days in Cairo and meteoric rise in 1950s Paris to the existential depth that defined her later years. Known for his mastery of sculptural volume and dramatic purity, the designer captured the poignant duality of a woman who lived at the intersection of public radiance and private tragedy.

The garments oscillated between luminous, sweeping silhouettes symbolizing her stage presence and stark, austere constructions echoing her inner quest for meaning. Rich, noble fabrics were draped with mathematical precision, evoking both the Mediterranean warmth of her heritage and the Camus-like absurdity of her deeply introspective soul. Behind the glittering stardom lay an artist who sang not merely to charm, but to survive.

Stephane Rolland distilled that quiet tension into every line and fold, transforming the runway into a sung diary of memory, silence, and timeless allure. The collection stood as a powerful testament to Dalida’s enduring legacy – a tribute to an artist who, behind the fame, never stopped searching for light.
