CORRECTIONS:
(1) At 5:15 we say 'only a slight majority [in Bornholm] want independence', when we meant minority
(2) At 6:30 was say that 'more than 8 million people claimed Silesian identity in the 2011 Polish census', when we meant 800,000
Both of these were typos on the writer's part (Zac/me, the guy writing this comment), so apologies for that; we'll try our best to improve in the future

Catalonia, last time the separatists tried to separate more than 2200 companies left the region to protect their capital. Including the bank of Catalonia. A region that has its 80% of exports to Spain itself and 20%to the EU should not be so arrogant to think they can survive without being part of the country.

I'm from Silesia. Most of us just want autonomy, but as we slowly grow stronger each year, more people are also calling for independence, and rightfully so.

In Flanders, I think calling the NVA separatist is not completely true. They have been in Belgian federal governments before and have said they would never declare independence without a go-ahead from both some kind of referendum and a warranty that they would remain part of the EU. They rather call themselves confederalistic (and they don't mean like the confederacy of southern US states), meaning they want to get various different powers (mainly those related to financial matters) moved over to the regional level. It would be very inaccurate to call all NVA supporters separatist. There are of course more separatist and more federal sides of the party. As for Vlaams Belang, I think you can call most of their voters separatists.
