    They have been trading since the 1500s, europe ( the dutch and portuguese) is the biggest exporters of arms in feudal japan….

    I wish the EU would revise some of its trade policy so it would be more in line with this deal with Japan.
    Lowering tariffs should always be accompanied with commitments to guarantee worker rights are protected and races to the bottom are avoided.
    This could be a force for good especially in developing countries that currently compete against each other for the lowest wages.

    The Japanese consumers who have been the people who are the biggest losers from the Japanese barriers and tariffs. EU consumers lose from the EU tariffs.

    More useless bandying about of irrelevant statistics.
