Italy’s declining population fuels long-term economic uncertainty
Italy’s aging citizens coupled with low birth rates are shrinking the country’s population. Experts are now looking to reverse the trend to boost future economic growth, Euronews correspondent Giorgia Orlandi reports.

“Sexism is all about putting people in boxes as soon as we meet them, labelled either ‘man’ or ‘woman’. As soon as they deviate from that, even a little, they are quickly reminded to get back into line and play their role.

London’s British Library is staging ==the UK’s biggest comic book exhibition==.
Featuring modern day classics like ‘Preacher’, ‘Judge Dredd’ or ‘V for Vendetta’, the show also goes back centuries, highlighting ==Britain’s long history in an art form seen by many as quintessentially American==.

If it is true that the masses, the populations react as an entity to environmental and social conditions, it seems that advanced Western societies have intimately understood that all this manpower will not be needed in the near future.
And by the law of preservation it unconsciously adapts to the changed economic and social conditions.

I feel sorry for Italy. It has fallen so far since the height of its empire. Almost totally irrelevant soon. It has become like Disney World, a tourist mecca. One huge Pompei, people come to see the bygone days, the past.
