   Premiere League is no longer under EU but UK law.
   The English gouvernment will never allow it and that was the reason it stopped. Why cause it would political suicide. So if English clubs would try again the gouvernment would.make their life hell (signing new players, building new stadium etc.)

   I have a hard time blaming none english clubs for wanting this, they simply can't compete financially, once they come with a new version that's not a closed shop it will probably go through.

   I honestly think there should be some form of European league to represent the highest level of ⚽. If the sport were smart, they would set up a European league in ⚽ similar to what the Americans do with 🏒 🏈 & 🏀. Have a salary cap, revenue sharing, a rookie draft.. think how popular the NFL is in the US, now imagine that concept with European ⚽. It would be insane!

   The European Super League, if it happened, would be akin to a bunch of celebrities, who have an over inflated idea of how popular they are, out with their immediate fans and social media followers, booking a posh hotel in a town for a party, which they plan to fund by charging the locals money to come into the grounds of the hotel to watch them arrive and walk up the red carpet into their party. They have also set up viewing galleries and large screens, so that those locals can sit, or stand outside in the cold and watch them having their fun inside. They have promised that a tiny amount of the locals will be allowed in, but the overwhelming majority will not. (Probably local dignitaries who will gain admittance for the most part!)

   However, they then end up being put out to discover, that many of their fans have decided to turn their backs upon them and not come to watch them, as they are disgusted at their stuck up, elitist behaviour and how they are expecting others to fund their shindig. Also, hardly anyone who is not a fan of theirs bothers to turn up, having better things to do with their time, than watch a bunch of people they do not like, having some snobby, elitist party, that they have hardly any chance of joining,

   Yes, a few sad individuals, who don't seem to have a life, do turn up. (You know, like the ones who turned up on a Friday night, to watch the Big Brother Eviction, or who have nothing better to do at Christmas Day, than stand in the cold to watch the Royals going to church!) Some of those though are just dazzled and impressed by celebrities in general and, if their favourite celeb's star starts to set, they will not stick by them, moving on to those who are on trend instead. However, far fewer people in total turn up than expected and nowhere near enough to fund the party, which is unfortunate (for the celebs anyway, but funny as hell for everyone else!), as several of them had been living extravagant lifestyles, are heavily in debt and are relying on the surplus money, after the party costs were covered, to bail them out of the financial hole they are in!

   It will implode horribly as the fans want nothing to do with it. Us "legacy" fans are what makes the game the beautiful game, its that legacy that matters, its promotion and relegation that matters, its the little guy beating the big team, its the mismatches, the upsets, the runs and scarcity of european places and games that adds to the allure, give it 5 years and if the Super League will have taken off, the powers that be will have hollowed out the top level professional game into a shallow enterprise, solely focused on profiteering, filled with fans that visit from around the world once a year, buy the merch and have no real invested love of the game. We'll see smaller footballing associations take the fanbase and we'll see giants of the game falter in terms of viewership and sustained interest over time, and as upsetting as it sounds, we'll start following smaller clubs, further down the league structures. I'm a Tottenham fan,(yes I'm a masochist) mostly because of where I was born and my love for keano and gazza, and even though I would hold Spurs in my heart forever, I would start following league of ireland team or a championship side if the super league came to fruition. Its so sad to say but the REAL footballing fans want a game that is REAL. Not some pretentious exploitative game led by the most greedy, horrible governing bodies ever imaginable.

    I think it's good the premier leugue is now a farmers leugue its uncompetitive so I think this is needed

    The Premier League is the Super League. We don’t need something that’s even worse. We want football to be better, equal, sustainable, inclusive, competitive and unpredictable for both male and female athletes. From the top to grassroots.

    You cant have man city winning the league, theyre a league 2 side at best so obviously real madrid are going have something to say and rightly so. For english football to continue they needed to brand liverpool and man utd at the expense of everyone else globally. Now you have man city and potentially newcastle winning the title, english football is dead. Time for a super league.

    Simple, they can have their super league but on these conditions, they have to accept that they will lose all of their Champions league titles and Europa league titles, and any other continental club competition titles as well their club world cup titles, a transfer embargo for 4 years including loaning out players.

    Celtic and Rangers should join the European Super League to get more money for Scottish football.
    I do not support the old firm joining the english league as people would think Scotland is part of England. And people would say the scottish clubs have won no trophies domestically.
    I do support pan-Great Britain cups on top of domestic and european football.
    Merge the English league cup, Scottish league cup and Welsh league cup as a great britain cup.

    Also bring back the anglo scottish cup.
    Also invite all scottish premiership sides not in europe and selected welsh premier sides Into the
    English football league trophy. And invite all Scots premier and Scots championship sides not in europe plus all welsh premier sides Into the fa trophy.
    The Scottish are allowed Northern Irish and Welsh sides In the Scottish challenge cup.

    Big difference that I see in PL and other league is the setup of teams
    In pl most teams like to play attacking ,yes there is some teams who play low block but not many .
    But in others many teams setup just to defend with 9-10 players in around box and 1 forward up front.

    Come on guys we all know that PL is successful leage but that doesn’t mean that they’re better than the other clubs especially spanish clubs who won the most CL trophies last 30 years. For example real madrid have a bigger fans around the world than all PL clubs compined. And we all know why are you (Skysports) against the super league cause you will gonna loose more money 😂😂

    I'd agree to a super league if there was relegation and if the format was insane, so insane the league would truly live up to it's word as the hardest league in the world. And would be the most unique, fair and exciting format to have ever existed. It won't happen of course 😆 but if I were in charge and this league had to happen I would have 30 teams in 1 massive league 58 matches a year and wait for it 😁😂… I'd have 27 relegation places 😁😭😆. The top 2 survive automatically and at the end of the season the teams finishing in 3rd and 4th battle it out for the bronze medal and survival
