They’re not paying you to move there this isn’t a Mr Beast video.

€80000 is the maximum grant they will give you based on how much renovation is needed. €80000 will probably cut it to buy a cottage there. You’ll need another 150k to knock it down and start fresh then lol.

If you buy cottage in a good state they’ll give you very little

The amount of Pakistani/Indian people commenting is hilarious. This is the way they see the west – dumbasses handing out money

The amount of foreign parasites from 3rd world countries in the comments trying to get in on this is, is sickening. Thank god only for real Irish. If only all of Ireland had such requirements years ago.

Catch is the Irish tax payer can’t afford to pay for with cost of living.

There are countries that are either paying incentives or giving away free homes in more remote areas but you have to already be a citizen of the country. People see the videos and get all excited but it is usually not for foreigners. Over the years people in these countries have moved closer into bigger cities, leaving the smaller towns and villages kinda empty. Sometimes the job options are limited too, perhaps if you are retired or are able to work remotely.

Ireland has enough foreigners invading our country go look somewhere else

Not worth it. You have to spend the moey on the home. I don't like been given money and told what to use it on. Not to mention you dont need to spend 80,000 to do those houses up. Could live in one and spend maybe 10 to 20 grand on it and it would be grand. What about work? Yet again the government tryna screw the people.
