Nakchivan shouldn't exist it is clearly there there to pressurise Armenia and nothing else. How can it be a part of Azerbaijan when the two areas are disjointed? It makes no sense. Why does Azerbaijan want to take the southern route as well? It already goes through Georgia. This is clearly an attempt to subvert Armenia

Your 1994 map is not accurate, you purposely left the land surrounding NK invaded by Armenia, which proved that Armenia is land grabbing bully

Armenia promised the corridor but then refused to comply for 3 years. Armenia moved small arms and landmines under the protection of Russians through the lachin corridor without checkpoints for 3 years. Armenia planted landmines IEDs and fired at civilians. The local armenian population supported and backed an illegal local terrorist militia. This had to stop!

Local civil non terrorist Armenian population that lived there could take full citizenship of Azerbaijan but they refused to do so and left. They refused to take roads through normal roads and border checkpoints like its done in any other civilized nation. You can't force someone to act civil, you can offer them a choice. They chose to leave and support local illegal military militia. Hundreds of ethnic groups and religions exist in Azerbaijan and have existed for millenia. Everyone is happily living there, except Armenia.

Ladies & gentlemen, In 1991 former Soviet Union collapsed and Armenia saw the opportunity to invade Azerbaijan with then Russian help, They occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan territory called Nagorno Garabag, several millions Azerbaijani nationals were forced to leave their homes and become refugee by running to safety. Armenians killed thousands of innocent civilians specially in Khojavandi area, they committed war crimes in so many occasions, such as cutting pregnant women belly and taking baby out alive killing mother and child- what kind of inhuman behaviour can we name this act???? They forced Azerbaijani children into metal big tube, welded both sides and dropped them from top of mountains I have video of all these inhuman criminal behaviour. If anyone would like to see them I can provide no problem whatsoever. During 28 years Azerbaijan asked Armenia to leave Azerbaijani territory peacefully, Armenian government always refused. Azerbaijani president presented cases many times at European court of law, EU head office to advise Armenians to leave Azerbaijani occupied territories. All of his request was ignored. In April 2016 Azerbaijan started the war to claim its territory but Russia warned Azerbaijan and forced Azerbaijan to stop. Finally in 2020 Azerbaijan had enough, started the war in September 2020 and within 44 days Azerbaijani powerful military forced Armenians out, Russia intervened and put its own peace keeping military personnel in Garabag. The world screams and know that Garabag is internationally recognised to be part of Azerbaijan, BUT Armenia never wanted to leave. Armenians thought they will get from West or Russia, but Russia could not be a match for Azerbaijani well equipped military that was being backed by Turkish excellent army. During 44 day fight Azerbaijan returned most of its territory that Armenia had occupied in 1991, but city of Khankendi was still full of Armenians. Azerbaijani president said: All Armenians living in Khankendi must accept Azerbaijani citizenship and continue living where they are. In former Soviet union Armenians and Azerbaijanians were living there that during the 1991 war Azerbaijanians were forced out and run for their lives. Armanians again trying to play nasty games and do not want to have peaceful life. Like I said the world knows that Kharabag is internationally recognised to be part of Azerbaijan. I have seen so many statements from Armenians-ON YOUTUBE- in Yerevan stating that KHARABAG HAS NEVER BEEN ARMENIAN TERRITORY BACK FROM SOVIET UNION TIME. They say that their country should have returned Azerbaijani territory long time ago, had they done that then the country would not have lost so many of its soldiers for something that it does not belong to them. Azerbaijan would have helped them financially, oil, gas and everything, there would have been peace and friendship. No, of course Armenian government wanted war and Azerbaijan gave them war. Do you know why Armenia was not afraid to have war, they thought Russia was going to help them, Russia din't help. Armenia asked all European countries to help them, nobody did! Every country's prime minister said: That is Azerbaijani territory, leave that territory and there will be no war. Now they want to create their own Republic called artsak in Azerbaijani territory!!!! How arrogant, unreasonable can a nation be, is just unbelievable!!! There are 5 different nations – not Azeri- living is different part of Azerbaijan BUT they are Azerbaijanian citizens and happy to be part of the country. There are so many examples like this people living in so many different countries but accept and obey country's rule and live happy. Thank you for reading. May God Almighty bless everyone on this planet and bring peace to whole world AMEN.

You miss a lot of information. For instance, during the fights immediately after independence Armenia did not just get control of Nagorni Karabakh; they also occupied several provinces in Azerbaijan. Plus the history is a lot more complex starting from even before Ottoman times.

Nagorno – Karabakh becoming and autonomus respublic would only venefit Armenia. Because the lands are the eternal lands of Azerbaijan. When Azerbaijan gained its independence for the first time in 1918 and for the second time in 1991, all states accepted that these lands belong to Azerbaijan. When Azervaijan gained its independence for the first time in 1918, it made concessions to the Armenians in İrevan and its surrounding lands.
My quetion will be to the Europeans who support Armenia. İf the refugees living in your country started their territorial calims and wanted to size your lands, woul you give them the support you gave to Armenia?

if really want to consider the history. It belongs to Iran. There are 2 regions next to each other: GHarebagh or karabakh and Gharedagh . these ares belonged to a family of Azeri's in Iran which I personally know for the past 800 years .Around 150 years ago Iran lost Gharebagh ( Karabakh) to Russia along Azerbaijan and Armenia on a treaty called Torkamanchai.
