http://www.FashionTV.com/videos MILAN – Remember when those world famous 90s supermodels did that Vogue photoshoot where they dressed up in leather jackets and skirts? The photoshoot was with photographer Peter Lindbergh and the year was 1990. Dsquared2 designers Dean and Dan Caten attempted to recreate that photoshoot with Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and more for their Spring/Summer 2013 collection at Milan Fashion Week. And it certainly seemed appropriate, considering they love their biker babes and bad girls. They love their leather jackets, biker hats, gold accessories, and dark denim. Interestingly enough, they add some unique details to the general collection that some scratching their heads and wondering if it could work. Notice those denim shorts with the lace detailing, the animal prints, the blazers (where did they fit in) and the t-shirts with words like Caten in a font that resembles Cartier. But the vixen/vamp vibe was right up the Dsquared2 alley.

Swelling raglan-dolman sleeves, cocoon silhouettes, and high-waisted shell-like leather trousers create a striking interplay between upper-body tension and lower-body volume. A rich tactile dialogue emerges through contrasting materials – juxtaposing habotai silk, organza, and linen with metallic surfaces, shimmery vinyl, and intentionally crushed leathers.
Rooted in dramatic black and ivory, the palette comes alive with painterly flashes of sage, citron, berry, and ink.

I love Cara's face but come on she's terrible on the runway. This time she got completely overshadowed by those three 10:30 and Toni. Specially by Irina who should teach her how to walk like a real model and not like the spoiled rich girl playing to be one. I love that part of the show. Just look at those three.

Great collection, fabulous girls (especially Constance, Toni, Anne V, Bette, Lindsey, Andreea, Jasmine, Irina, Jac, Stam) but I think the best part of this show is the music. Kudos to whomever mixed this.
