I went to the game and when I saw Wednesday having these attacks i knew we had a higher chance of winning especially after that offside goal we had in extra time

My god, this has to be one of the greatest league one play-off finals i've ever seen! From making a huge comeback win with 5-1 down to 5-5 on Peterborough and go on to win on penalties, to this! such an amazing match by both teams, they're were playing like their life depends on it. Congrats Sheff Wed!

I don't think I'm the only one who thinks these lower league play off finals are far more exciting than the FA Cup finals we see these days.

Sheff Wed will probably finish bottom in the Champs. They need some younger players to change that.

We’ve done Peterborough & Barnsley dirty in this playoff campaign. 90+8 to complete an unbelievable comeback & 120+3 winner to promote us! Feels like it was meant to be for us this year.

well done to wednesday fans staying patient with the boys in the stand it wasn't great the long ball was working it created some of our best chances and after we ran them into the ground we dominated the second half of extra time and the first bit of quality we showed we scored … fair play to barnsley just as bad as wednesday in creating a spectacle but your boys played like Lions

I feel sorry for the Barnsley goalie, he had a brilliant game until then. It only takes one second to go from heaven to hell!

VAR checked the penalty and the sending off and let them stand., not Wednesday's fault.

What an absolute idiot Phillips is! Cost his team the chance and wasted a whole season, they may never get such a good opportunity.
