Looking at recent headlines, you might feel like Europe is really souring on immigration, with the rise of right-wing parties across Europe, and even some more liberal politicians asking for a better immigration system. In this video, we take a look at why immigration is such a hot topic in the EU, why the current system doesn’t work, and whether the EU can fix it.

I think europeans will get rid of multiculturalism soon. Maybe around 2030. I just see how arabs and africans act here. It will not be tolerated for too long.

I understand at the same time I find it funny, in my country Turkey, we have 5 million Syrians, there are also a lot of Afghans. So much so that many Turks decided to move to Europe just to get away from them. Refugees are ok but they should be women and children only, most refugees are male adults

Why don't these migrants go to turkey or saudi or qatar isn't that like they won't have to change thete culture 🙄 rather then going to a country with secular laws

Isn't this, mainly, why european countries have politically tilted towards the right so much?

The left is full of fools. this is the great erasure of Europe, done by the left. Wide open borders, never has it been so easy to invade a country and take over a country by sear numbers. To add to the madness any European who doesn't want to be invaded by those that hate them, is called a Nazi. The whole thing is a joke. It wont be long before it spills out to violence on the streets.

I am a citizen of the Russian Federation, and the same problem begins in our country as in the EU with emigration from Central Asian countries. When there weren't many of them, you don't notice them, but when the population concentration starts to count in the tens of percent…. You start to notice a sharp increase in crime, drugs, rape, etc. But this is not the worst thing, none of them wants to integrate. Diasporas appear in your country and begin to indicate how to behave at home, forbidding you the holidays and traditions that are familiar to you.

Poland handed over to White emigrants (Christians and Slavs), these are Europeans from Russia and Ukraine. These people are close in traditions, and they easily integrate into society.

I have an honest question because it makes me curious, I notice that when they make these videos they refer a lot to refugees and muslims but I know that a lot of latinamericans chose to study/work in Europe (I'm venezuelan and my own parents studied their PHDs in Spain) so if you're european from the EU, do you put latinamericans in the same sac as war refugees/middle easterns or is there a difference because of an easier integration due to more values in common? (If you answer please be polite)

PC culture played a part in the problem – it became taboo to say that migrants bring problems with them, or to suggest tighter controls. Only now when its a crisis can Europe finally look around and see that the rest of the world has tight immigration for a good reason.

Send the ship to its origin. While living in the state of origin the people must apply to migrate. The states, coutries, don't have the resources to support these people.

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

The global leaders have nothing to do. So what we see is their creations on people. Why do they have those G7, G8, G20 meetings?

  28. @ingridarvidsson7597

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

The globals leaders are hiding something = migrants, between them and us. What is next?

  29. @ingridarvidsson7597

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

The problem are that the origans countries not can have so many people in their own coutries? To large population in their own countries, and the whole world knew that. Stop making babies when you not have room for them.

  30. @ingridarvidsson7597

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

Why do you migrants want to be a part of that you hate = racism and go so far and want to live in the cold climate? That are strange for me?

  31. @rihanajan9798

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

Break it, EU alliance is useless anyways. It helps the few rich countries to get constant workers, but it is not helping poor EU countries

  32. @rihanajan9798

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

As much as I understand the difficulties that come with acceptance of refugees, these NATO and EU countries should be compelled to accept refugees from any country they get involved in through military conflicts. There must be consequences if you are middling in other countries' affairs and contributing to their wars which end up displacing local populations. If you say that a regime in a part of the world far and separated from you somehow is a threat to your values/democracy, then wouldn't that mean you would shelter those who try to leave that regime? that is part of the humanitarian values that you all preach after all. The solution is to accept skilled immigrants, stop getting involved in wars of other countries (i.e., Ukraine, Middle East, etc.), and don't accept refuges.

Can't we just stop with this madness. Europe simply cannot take EVERYONE. Literally. It's not possible. There needs to be a filter of some sort, and I would say that filter should be culture, i.e. people that are actually interested in European culture and willing to adapt. Let's face it, many migrants that settle here only come because of the prosperity of the European countries, but not because they particularly like our culture. I find that disrespectful.
I have moved around a lot in my life. The many times I migrated somewhere, I chose countries where I wanted to be. Where I felt home and an affinity to the place, so my integration and acceptance of the host country's rules were both easy and natural for me. IMHO, that's what you do. What angers me in Europe is that so many people are here for no other reason than their financial situation, but you can tell they don't actually enjoy being here, adhering to our laws and cultural norms, because they don't. That's what I am missing.

  35. @thisismetoday

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

6:00 Maybe you should mention at that point (and to not skew the picture) that Poland has had a population where immigrants only made up 1%, whereas in France on Germany immigrants make up around 15%…!

  36. @visu6287

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

    it's going to shit

  37. @mhosvaify

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

It is the constant persistent exploitation of said migrant countries by Europe and the West that creates the very migrants Europe doesn’t want, if Europe and the west are to come out of those countries then they would be no migrant crises, that simple

  38. @kimberlycampbell8355

    February 14, 2024 at 8:28 pm

Until people start talking about the real reason that immigration is happening, then it will never end! The EU and the US opened up their borders because they want to remove people from their countries so that they can claim these lands as internationally owned and make it where no one can visit these countries ever again! It's all part of this Global Socialist Agenda known as Agenda 2030! This is not sustainable because we cannot absorb all of these immigrants without burdening citizens! We're all going to end up being a thrid world country if this is allowed to continue!
