Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa refused to leave the pitch during the Carabao Cup Final after Maurizio Sarri tried to substitute him off due to an injury. The incident resulted in Sarri throwing a bottle in the Wembley dugout and storming off down the tunnel. Chelsea lost the match to Man City on penalties. Wasnt the score 0-0 after 120 minutes? Yeah thought so so Kepa did his job

Totally unprofessional and disrespectful to the manager. Typical of today’s arrogant arsehole footballers who are paid far too much money and need to do a real days work. FIFA and the PREMIER LEAGUE should have looked at this and banned him without pay for a substantial length of time (years) for bringing the game into disrepute. Should never play professionally again.

Everyone seems to forget that a few months later, Kepa saved two penalties in the Europa League semi final – a competition that Chelsea then went on to win… So all those commenting with their heart saying that Kepa should never have played for Chelsea again (particularly Chelsea fans), might want to have a little rethink. Definitely a one off though, and will likely be talked about for many more years to come.

I was good at football when i was younger.. but anytime i had to be subbed which was rarely as i loved doing the full 90 .. i respected my managers decision but i was obviously upset coming off. You'll obviously understand if you love football.

I would have released him immediately after the match, doesn't matter if he's a better keeper or not, you can't have someone walk all over you like that when you're a manager, or the rest will follow suit.
