LESIEWICZ’S Women’s 400m Final – European U20 Championships Tallinn 2021
Only 17, Poland’s Kornelia Lesiewicz is the European U20 400m champion.
Taking the lead with 300 metres to go, she ran to victory in Tallinn with a time of 52.46.

Question for British commentators. Why do you consistently and stupidly put the accent in Russian female names on the second syllable from the end, and in Polish on the third, when it should be exactly the opposite? ArkhIpova and LesiEwicz – not AkhipOva and LEsiewicz. But still "Matilde Desiou" was the best.

Girls that came last looked like a slow pickings ,but I know I would have NO chance with the slowest one of them. I would still be at 100m when they have after race coffee.Congrats to all
