After we wrote this video, it was reported that Biden would approve the sale of new F-16 jets to Turkey, which had previously been blocked in reaction to Turkey's purchase of a Russian S-400 missile defense system in 2019. It's now apparent that, while Erdogan might have had real complaints about Finland and Sweden's treatment of Kurds, he was also using the threat of a veto to force the US' hand on the F-16 deal. Apologies, we didn't quite have time to fit this in yesterday and get the video out this morning; hope you enjoyed the video nonetheless!

Finland have got approval from Turkey to yoin NATO but not Sweden!
One reason is that there have been some earlier Koran burning outside the Turkey ambasy in Stockholm by the Danish/Swedish right extremist Paludan.
Then also that Sweden by law can not deporting some of the peaples that Erdugan have on his list. This because the law say that when thay have get any prof of illegal activity from them from Turkey. Then also thay should be handled if proved illegal activity to got a nonpartic hearing and human handling in prison according to international laws. That have Turkey not provide. Also Turkey is hiding for Sweden an Interpol tha Kurdish kriminal tha Kurdish Fox that is casing by to be one part of the gangkrimenal war in Sweden now. Edogan is protecting by him self this Kurdish criminal that Sweden want to get deported to Sweden.
So this is a rel mess to say.

Finland and Sweden's entry to NATO causes Putin absolute discomfort. As paraniod Putin sees it, NATO is a threat to his beloved Mother Russia. Finland and Sweden's geographics will cause Putin to enjoy many nightmares. This makes great news.

Why would Turkey accept Sweden and Finland into NATO? These countries have relations with the terrorist organization PKK, which massacres civilians in Turkey. If NATO is an ally, what is the job of someone collaborating with their enemy in this organization?

I know Finnish people who landed in Turkey for vacation only to be kidnapped by the taxi from the air port, be beaten and have guns held against the head of their families. Military then threatened them with jail and violence unless they kept silent and forced them to sign papers when they tried to get home. Disgustingly corrupt nation. They thought they were gonna get killed but were later released, still no idea behind the motivation but definitely a scaring experience for the entire family. They are some of the kindest people I know and this is how Turkey welcome innocent families who come to experience the nation.

What a shame PKK named Kurdish Warriors! They killed over 30.000 people who were Turkish,Kurdish and many others.

Ask the Kurdish who live in İstanbul why they came İstanbul! Thousands of them escaped from Shout East to north bc of terrorist attacks. And it is costed 2 trillion dolars.
And we should leave NATO. We are not faceless but they are. They reconized PKK as terrorist group and they said we are ally of etc etc . But in the back doors they gave the weapons which were cause of thousands death of my sisters and brothers.
Also if we get out from nato we would clear the country from Gladio.

1:43 PKK (aka YPG) is officially accepted as a terrorist organization by the EU, USA and Japan. You should mention them as a terrorist organization. Its not a political party in any parliament or so, its an actual illegal armed force with narcotics as their main source of income. This type of "objectivity" is only accepting this type of terror. Turkey does not have problem with kurds as a race but It has problem with with kurdish party that have saparatist inclination that resorts to violence against Turkish citizens. Nato needs Finland n Sweden to guard against Russian border n I think Turkey have no problem with that. It helps Turkey as it was facing Iran, Syria, Russia, Armenia and even unfriendly Greece as neighbours. If Finland n Sweden does not approve extradition request, don't expect Finland or Sweden convicts who escape to Turkey to be approve extradition. I hope the countries understood that. Sort of late addition, but traditionally relationships between Turkiye and Finland have been pretty friendly, if not exceptionally friendly comparing that the nations represent close two extremes of the European countries. What I remember past like 20-30 years, Finland has been one of the countries voting positively towards Turkiye's closer relationships to rest of the European countries, no matter in what issue (trade contracts with EU, joining EU defence organizations, freedom of movement or so on). We basically share the same situation, being borders of Europe, and I think that in the end Finnish and Turkiyesh people share the same pretty sharp-edged mentality, altough in different form.
Thinking from that perspective, I doubt Turkiye will ultimately block the two countries joining Nato. For the alliance, Finland and Sweden joining in is just – it is an overwhelming victory. It will remove lots of uncertainty in the Baltic and Arctic regions. The big winners are countries like United States, Canada, Norway, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia. All the Nato countries nearby, either in south at Baltic Sea area (Baltic States, Poland, Germany and Denmark), or our neighbours around Arctic Sea area (United States, Canada, Norway, Iceland).
From Turkiye point of view, the possible "wins" from these countries are just too little compared what Nato gains. In the extreme it is just few extradicted people. Both countries follow the principles decided in EU, and most of EU are also Nato members. Nato also includes the most powerful supporter of YPG, that is United States. AFAIK, at state level, neither countries have supported kurdish armed forces, but AFAIK, both countries have delivered humanitarian aid both in Turkiye, Syria and Irak. And both countries have send troops to fight along with Nato armies in the region.
When it came obvious that Finland and Sweden are going to apply to Nato at around March-April 2022, I was wondering which strategy Turkiye will choose: (1) would it choose heartly welcoming the two missing North European countries to alliance, and make them their best friends forever, or (2) would it choose to oppose, to get some short sight winnings. As a Finn, being in the head of Turkiye, I would have chosen the first one, because we would have remembered that for decades, or even centuries. Unlike our political leaders say, sadly standing to oppose to get some short term winnings will also be remembered for decades. From Finland's point of view, before Erdogan's sudden demands it was many times asked if Turkiye has anything against Finland's joining to Nato, just anything that can be done to pave the way, and the answer was that no, Turkiye has no objections – until the time to send the application came. I am pretty sure we will remember it for a long time.

The Kurds saved us all from one of the most evil groups ISIS. They did the dying they did the heavy lifting of that war. They always get thrown under the Bus. Turkey is run by a tyrant. The Kurdish women led direct democracy experiment in northern Syria is a model for the world. But nation states always want to subjugate people, it's in their design. Pkk is a terrorist organization and it is considered so by us eu and all other international organizations. Not by just turkish government. They are a bloody group that commits terrorist suicide bombings, killing civilians doctors teachers, burning down schools, damaging infrastructure and also attacking military outposts, as well as engaging illegal drug trade, even arsoning forests. Make your research well before whitewashing a terrorist organization.
