Policeman shot at point-blank rage, still issues traffic ticket, SA

The City of Cape Town police department has released footage showing the moment a gunman ambushed a police officer during a traffic stop.

Officer has been honored with a bravery award after he returned fire and pursued the gunman who shot him in the back on November 17.

The South African officer sustained a flesh wound and was released from hospital shortly after the attack.

    Im South African and this kind of thing happens all the time in SA. As i type this today we're having service delivery protests all over the country and that always involves violence, looting and destruction of property. Its the same every single day. I don't think that cop was as surprised as you think he was.
