During Euronews’ special #GreenWeek, our journalist Damon Embling held a virtual debate on the future of water, and how Europe can fight the climate crisis.
Global access to clean water, why are women and girls so badly affected by water scarcity or technology being a solution to tackle the changing face of agriculture were the many topics discussed during this live event.
The guests were WaterAid’s Global Director of Policy and Campaigns Sol Oyuela, Novagric’s Director of Research & Development Department Juan Pardo Martinez, Belgian MEP and Member of the Parliamentary Group on Water Assita Kanko and Head of the School of Geography and Environmental Science at University of Southampton Professor Justin Sheffield.

Europe can't fight the climate crisis because it's the USA and China that are responsible for it. Only thing we can do is stop buying products from these countries and produce everything in Europe
