Speaking as someone who is on the ASD spectrum, the low price fare, is all Ryan Air offer. Their business model is my worst nightmare. The digital only ticket policy – established as it is – if anything goes tits up, you’re on your own. There is no peace of mind on offer. The Tory government tried to push the Ryan Air model onto the UK rail network last year, by shutting ticket offices. But when their constituents start exposing for the false economy it was, they backtracked. If this one size fits all digital only policy, becomes the norm on all forms of transport, travel will be inaccessible to quite a few people..

Thanks to the EU Ryanair is so big. One if the reasons why Ryanair is huge supporter of the EU as well. But also one of the few corporation in Europe to criticise Brussels about everything and most of the times they are right. But what I love about Ryanair is not the cheap flight, but how easy is to become cabin crew and a pilot for them without experience. They give chance to everyone unlike many of these expensive legacy carriers.

Ryanair made every traveler's life much easier. Love them. I love how people like to complain but they never want to pay £150 + for a 1h flight to Europe on a legacy carrier. If you want seats that recline 2 inches more and airlines that offer 1 water and 1 snack for 3x the price be my guest. Even the food on-board Ryanair seems no more expensive than the prices you would find on the ground inside an European Airport.

**You do not need to pay if you forget to print your boarding pass. You need to pay if you forget doing the online checkin! Just trying to avoid a lot of people printing it unnecesarilly! Nice video overall thanks for this summary!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Ryanair come begging the British government for a handout during the covid lockdown, strikes me if they charged dearer fares, the British tax payer,in future any airline that refuses to return illegal migrants to the country they say they come from, should be refused British tax payers money.😊

Ryanair is impressive but I like the Air Asia LCC model which allows passengers to just buy a seat like Ryanair or to prepay luggage, food etc and get something similar to a full service flight but still at a very economical price. The prepaid extras are not as expensive as they seem to be on Ryanair. Air AsiaX also has a Premium Flatbed Seat option on some longer flights which offers the main advantages of Business Class with much less expense.

Anytime , They don't give me a boarding pass, they tell me I have to go to the check in desk to go to visa check. Also, when flying to my country, it needs to arrive with full fuel. The flight from Dublin to Bodrum takes 4.30 hours.😅

We have our own version of Ryanair. It is called Spirit Airlines. Frontier is basically our version of Wizzair.

A Business model that sells cheap airfare, that the market needs and want. No Brainer. .

You have missed a huge chunk of its history, the fact that it was basically bankrupt and o leary wanted Tony Ryan to close it before he went to study southwest airline

I look for every possible way NOT to fly Ryanair. A miserable experience, it's like Asda in the air. It is possible to do cheap without being so dreadfully tacky and nasty.

I'd rather pay a little extra and have something that didn't make you feel like you're in the bottom of the barrel.

I take regulary Ryanair flight from Gøteborg Sweden to Banjaluka Bosnia. When they introduced this flight, it made my life so much easier.
