Let me explain the electoral college in American elections. In the early days of America the majority of people lived in cities. So farm issues were ignored. Then to solve this problem the farm areas were given more votes to even the playing field ( pitch for Europeans). Even today there are different issues for different areas. City problems have nothing to do with other areas. If every vote was the same then the east coast cities would rule America.

Recently, Pres. Putin admitted that it is really his aim to restore the old Czar-ruled Russian Empire. He further added that the NATO membership issue, deNazification & harrasment of Russian-speaking nationals are just made up to justify that imperialistic goal. Is he not ashame that he still flounts those matters? Empires are long gone. Kingdoms are next. He is still clinging to that belief. Poor Ukrainians. A victim of empire-seeking autocratic & heartless politician. Watch out Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Moldavia, Transnistria, etc. You could be next.
