For S/S 2027, Lorenzo Serafini guides Alberta Ferretti into a beautiful escape rooted in dance’s fluid grace and the languid nostalgia of end-of-summer days.
Inspired by the radical movement of 1920s dance icons Leon Bakst and George Balanchine, the collection frees the body from structural constraint through effortless, kinetic silhouettes.
Liquid-like floral prints, kimono jackets, and intimate slip dresses meet voluminous balloon trousers, blurring the boundary between private lounging and public allure.
A sun-bleached palette of teal, rust, and mustard yellow is tempered by soft recollections of lilac and pistachio, capturing the fleeting memory of endless warm days.
Blending Matisse-like artistic spontaneity with uninhibited sensuality, Serafini defines a modern femininity that moves instinctively on its own terms.

Today is April 3, 2023, and all in here in Hollywood are doing the no eyebrow look! Lady Gaga has been singing at the Oscar's! And the weaved hair is in style now! 13 years later? Alexander McQueen is being copied by all as it was their idea! And imitation is the highest form of flattery!

I love how the shoes dictate the pace of the models on the catwalk, it made everything even more otherworldly! Such a genial artist gone way too soon!

its disorienting that the man who designed all these stunning pieces is wearing comfy brown sandals and a plain white button down shirt. i understand he is running around fixing the garments hence the comfy clothing. its refreshing and cool to see the contrast.

My daughter has a Monster High collectible doll who LITERALLY has a pair of those black snaky-alien heels… It wasn't just the fashion industry that took ideas (as in, exactly) from McQueen.

Omg. I just realized, imagine taking all that off. That hair 😬 beautiful show though. Even today of 2020’ this is still future. This is otherworldly. And the music? Alien rave.
