During the Brexit debate and even since then, some have claimed that the EU is planning to integrate so far that the end up forming some kind of EU army. A combined defence force which would include servicepeople from all member countries and could be called to assist any nation in the union. The thing is – some say this is all a myth and would/could never happen.

There is no alternative for Europe but to build a powerful military if the continent wants to survive the invasions from Russia, Africa and the Middle East. First of all there should be a state of the art border defense corps.

The EU is NOT a union but a group of seperate countries that that find themselves more important than the others …so NO union. In the EU they are not even aware that the US will NOT help when a EU state (Baltics) are attacked by Russia when US is under Trump government . Trump is about to take his revenge on ALL those who didn't love him unconditionally (read his Project 2025 in which he does not give a damn about the EU)

Even if it would make NATO less powerful, it shouldn’t matter. We also don’t say that USA shouldn’t have a united army between it’s states

There is no need for NATO in Europe. Each country would be more successful building up their own armies first before even talking about a European army. The aim of the US Ukraine proxy war is to make Europe dependent on the US for energy, for investments, for arms, and for security under US-NATO control. Unfortunately, European governments have been badly infected by US ideology and deadly politicsl viruses that prevent anyone thinking for themselves.

European security under NATO alone is inherently compromised by the interests of It's non-european members (USA, Turkey, arguably even the UK) the trouble is they're also only ones with any sort of military to speak of.

Eu army . Would Germany lead this army ???.If europe was to go it alone!!! Because this would mean the end of NATO/USA support. Would any euro country trust Germany, recent behavior of Germany dragging ukranian personnel into the graveyards of the Ukraine.Germany doesnt want to be seen by russia as supporting the Ukraine %100 .There will always be room for the German goverment to wriggle out of the majority concensus. Thé reason the EU wants an army is to control the naughty countries like the UK,Hungary, Poland and any other country which does not obey EU commands. Both coups de tat against Greece and Italy proved to be ineffective by just replacing that countries leader with someone from Goldman Sachs. When Russia shortly becomes no threat who is going to attack Europe?

A European army is the inevitable future of a federale Europe. And the argument saying that it is not possible because we already have NATO is totally wrong. The US army is nothing else than a common army of 50 different states… Thanks for your very well designed videos! 😃

Not a myth anymore, France and Germany have signed a defense pact as well as France and Greece few months ago. The seeds have been planted and they grow. Its time we take care of ourselves and stop relying on USA.

Europe is deep in military tradition in history. Europe is deep with military might. Going all the way back to Rome and further back to Greece, Europe have been the dominant force in world history until pretty much the past 75 years with the United States taking the lead. Before that it was all Europe all day all the time. But the problem is European countries have pretty much only fought each other since the fall of Rome. I'll go even further; the rise of nationalism in many countries today will prevent the formation of the European Army and I dare say will be destruction of the EU within the next 50 years. Let's just take a look at these members shall we: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. That's quite a list of countries. And they're even more than want to come in. Are you trying to tell me that the Greeks want to protect the Swedes? Spain wants to protect Cypress and Portugal wants to protect and help out Croatia? Croatia doesn't care because they don't like the Spanish anyway. That's not true, I'mm just saying that. But think about it. You trying to say these countries will put forth money towards an army for Europe? And in that Department we only have to look towards NATO. These are the members of NATO: Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States.
Take a look at the list. With the exception of the United States and Canada and until recently the UK, it almost mirrors the EU member nations. Almost but not quite. And I dare say if there was no United States involved in NATO there would be no NATO. This is not hubris this is fact. Because the fact is that member countries of NATO don't even want to put in their 2% that they required to pay for upkeep of the military alliance. And the member states that are putting up the 2% have only done so recently. The rise of nationalism and many EU countries is plain and clear to see today. And I am not just talking about the newest members from the East. I'm talking about the traditional and founding members of the EU. The United States in NATO keeps the alliance members pretty much honest with each other. Because if the United States didn't pay the lions share of NATOs Bills I'll say it again it would be no NATO. Everybody was mad when President Trump said the United States pays 90% of NATO's budget. Which I don't believe he meant 90% because it was just an off the cuff statement. But it pissed off many members of the alliance. Because it exposed them to the lack of funding. Now I knew you Army would have no United States to keep it all together. So I dare say it will be no Army. Because I can see two countries trying to lie for the top French and Germany and we all know how much history those two countries have for each other in the love departments.
