The EU isn’t Ready to let Ukraine in… here’s why

Published

on

There’s been a lot of talk about Ukraine joining the EU – a number of member states are apparently pretty keen on the idea too. However, the unfortunate reality is that Europe might need to get it’s house in order first.

if Ukraine was in the EU, everyone can admit that it will be good for everyone Ukraine is a world country of agriculture, it would be good for both sides, you can’t argue with these

Honestly I don't really care if Ukraine joins the EU or not, because I'm not really interested in that part of world, particularly it's politics

But In my opinion, I just can't see Ukraine joining the EU, because they are one of the most corrupt nations in Europe if not the most corrupt

Which is probably a main reason why they're entry is being denied

    February 19, 2024 at 6:13 pm

But how can ukraine joining exceed the seats when the UK, with a significantly larger population, just left many vacant seats

Ukraine will be joined to European Union under some conditions 1. Ukraine will sell all the industries such countries as France 🇫🇷, Latvia 🇱🇻, Lithuania 🇱🇹, Serbia 🇷🇸, Estonia 🇪🇪, and Cyprus the Netherlands 🇳🇱. Facto the headers of this individual sector will be there, but defacto Cyprus offshore companies will be. 2. Liberalization of all territory of Ukraine and 3. And media sector will be sold by such media that broadcast in Ukraine and Russia from the EU such as France 24, Rfi, DW, and BBC.

I do not understand why we are helping an ungrateful country at all, which does not thank in return for the help provided to it? Instead of thanking the president somehow, the beggar just does that, asks for more. I don't understand how much longer we have to work for this country, denying ourselves our own needs? The most important thing in all this is that the authorities, in particular the White House, are not doing anything to resolve the issues of stopping the supply of weapons. I am tired of what our authorities are doing, giving Ukraine new aid. If it comes to the point that you need to fight for a festering country, then I don't need it. This is not our country's war. Who needs it, let them fight with their own weapons. These are their personal problems. Stop involving Europe in your games. In order to avoid all the troubles for our country, I urge everyone to oppose the entry of Ukraine with its beggar into the NATO alliance…

Thanks for the video, but as a trainer who is training people about how EU functions, let me point out a few of your mistakes: countries do not "own" members of the EP, but the MEPs are elected from those countries. So you cannot say "Country X has Y MEPs", because in the same video you say "Country X" in relation to its government. Then, there is the Council of the EU and the European Council and you confuse the two. It is the Council of the EU that takes decision by QMV, not the European Council (known as EUCO). The treaties explicitely ban the EUCO from taking formal legally binding decisions. The only exceptions are nominations. EUCO is a political body of the most important national leaders and takes political decisions. For those reasons I gave you a thumb down, which is a shame, because I appreciate your videos a lot. There is room for improvement!

"Ukraine would carry a significant political weight" — Good! Europe has to be reformed. Germany has abused its position long enough.
Germany and France (Hungary too) actions lead to this war. It is those countries who ignored russian threat and sponsored Kremlin terrorist regime for decades and now Germany is the country which reduces necessary amounts of support to Ukraine, who protect Europe from russian invasion.

EU has a corruption of its own and this has to change for the better future of Europe.

  16. @VidraDeArgint

    February 19, 2024 at 6:13 pm

Maybe also mention the fact that receiving Ukraine into the EU would bring a significant number of ethnic Russians in so the EU will have to deal with a very unfriendly minority. It's not Ukraine's fault but still…

  17. @mr.clanni9930

    February 19, 2024 at 6:13 pm

You would have to change the requirements for accession set by Copenhagen criteria too in order to allow dictatorships and corrupt countries to join the EU since Ukraine is heavily corrupt and not a democracy.

It will never join the eu or nato simple as it’s too much heat for the west

  20. @prody666

    February 19, 2024 at 6:13 pm

First Ukraine would have to be ready before EU asking itself if it is ready. Ukrainian society has a long way to go. I am curious to see how they will deal with their minorities – Russian included – as minorities are protected and have rights in the EU. After the war, they're most likely to go for the witch hunt.

  24. @ivandimitrovivanov7584

EU is graveyard of nations so ukrain has to die first and than to enter EU.

  25. @ivandimitrovivanov7584

    February 19, 2024 at 6:13 pm

Ukrain with this naive and aggressive population cat enter EU…so it has to be degraded…so Russia is killing ukranians and healping ukrain to join EU..
Do your explain how ukrain with the above nazi battalions enter EU?

  26. @ivandimitrovivanov7584

    February 19, 2024 at 6:13 pm

Ukrain will join NATO when all ukranians are dead and the ukranian state is dead.
That is why EU is supporting the killing of ukranians.

  27. @maynamar2517

    February 19, 2024 at 6:13 pm

I know and i recognize that ukraine deserves to integrate europe more than poland and hungary(kind of people speaking).

The Ukrainians have always been a peaceful and pro-democracy people, unlike the Poles and Hungarians, who dream of greatness, like Russian; except that they are a weak.

  28. @maynamar2517

    February 19, 2024 at 6:13 pm

We must use their desire to join Europe as weight, to change Ukraine and push them tp fight against the mafia and corruption.

Otherwise nothing will change in ukraine.

Integrating Ukraine into the EU without the requirements for change is a fatal mistake for Ukraine and for Europe.

Already, it is necessary to expel poland and Hungary from EU.

Considering Future Food Security and the Need for the EU to become more Food Independent.
I would actually not consider the current Agriculture Aid to be a Problem.
Ukraine will need alot of Money to Rebuild. So giving them this Aid as part of the EU would be a Good thing.

  34. @Dennan

    February 19, 2024 at 6:13 pm

you shouldnt make tumbnails that give ukraine people more stress that they can never join eu, that is unessarcy, not all people see the "easliy" word when its so small.
