If the French army had this during the age of the First Republic and the First Empire (1790-1815), England would be French (as during the almost 3 centuries after 1066 and the conquest of Guillaume le Conquérant). ^^ And so especially, the world would have never knew the 2 butcheries of the two world wars in the 20th century…

Gay man marries transexual in Cuban first

Published

on

A man and a transgender woman have married in what’s been seen as Cuba’s first gay wedding.

Same-sex marriages are illegal in the country, but the ceremony went ahead as planned because the bride is legally a woman after undergoing Cuba’s first state-sanctioned sex change operation in 2007.

“I think the Cuban government has really politicised this. I haven’t wanted to turn this into a circus, much less something political,” said bride Wendy Iriepa.
