Russo hopeless as normal thinking she’s super hot, let’s face reality the only reason for the attendance was the super cheap tickets, charge the same as the men’s team and see what attendance you get. Totally garbage standard yet the commentators constantly big it up and as for Sky calling it the “Wondrous” Womens League 😂😂😂😂😂

It's genuinely so funny to see all the sensitive men in the comments who claim to not care about the women's game yet actively seek out the highlights so they can leave a comment because they're so upset it pulled in a decent crowd 😂
If you're "proper football fans" as you claim, maybe support your club whether it's the men's/women's/academy teams and stop being so sensitive about people enjoying the women's game

Going by the attendance at the Emirates , this must mean that Arsenal Women will sell out all their other games away from there , this season .
Let's see how many mothers and children will go a to game , mid winter , regardless of the low cost of admission .

The 3rd largest attendance at a football game in England this weekend was this Arsenal V Liverpool WSL match. That's fantastic given the Premier League was also on this weekend.

Well done Liverpool, I was there as an Arsenal fan. Both teams struggled with extensive injury lists, however Liverpool were rugged and determined defensively, with a great goalkeeping performance and pinched one when the chance came their way. Big respect to Liverpool. Chins up and onto the next Gunners 🔴⚪️

without the ridiculous pr machine wanting women's football to be pushed, it would not get anything near the attention. so what, 54k at the stadium, how much were the tickets what £5 or £10?, and how many were comps? it doesn't generate anything near the passion and cultural impact of men's and please sky, BBC, do us a favor, women's football is piggy backing on the name of men's including men's club history. bbc football website should separate women's from men's, and the blurring is becoming more noticeable and simply disingenuous. the push women's football is getting is not from the actual impact it is making on the streets or public consciousness fact. also, women's is a completely different game end of. the pace, the passing, the speed and i for one will not bother because as i said, it's barely above high-level FA school boys. Their defending is atrocious and gk is a joke.

Watched the game. I am so happy tonight. What a performance by Liverpool. Laws outstanding with several world class saves like 1:04 and 1:27, team put on a defensive masterclass and a stunning Miri Taylor strike stylishly created by Höbinger and Kearns 1:40 . We beat Arsenal with a depleted squad at The Emirates in front of a history making and record breaking paid attendance of 54,115. Come on Liverpool 😀 YNWA 🔴
