HISTORY FOR IRELAND – European U20 Championships Tallinn 2021

Ireland’s Cian McPhillips, Rhasidat Adeleke and Nick Griggs have tallied up four gold medals in Tallinn.

A historic moment for the nation, as they have only won a total of three gold medals at every previous European U20 championships combined.

    The English caller seemed blind to the Irish Runner?
    He, the Irish runner was always in the front frame.
    He actually ran a perfect strategic Race.
    I do agree, the pace of first lap was slow.

    It was absolutely choking the Brit commentator that an Irish boy could leave GB runners in his wake. Slow race my eye the only slow racers were the Brits😆

    Picked out the two Britons as having a particularly fast finish at the start of the race and then questioning whether they should have made the pace faster (to avoid a fast finish) afterwards.
