Brazil must be put under severe international sanctions until not only they completely stop deforestation, but reverse it.

I think the fact it was banned made it more famous. How can they say it’s political? It’s common sense.

UK is a hypocrite as if they regret everything they have done to other countries the colonies. Those wild animals can just to put to zoos it is better gor them to be in zoos than in the wild because humans are more important than animals

This isn't an advert that should be banned, it is one that needs to be seen. People need to start accepting the truth

Nutella I think should be disposed of. For years now they haven’t changed that one specific disgusting ingredient. Palm oil. Humans are the real monsters on this planet. Palm oil should be banned everywhere. Because of us, Orang-Utans lose their mothers and fathers and end up getting killed brutally by predators because they haven’t learn how to climb properly and protect themselves and find their own food properly. PALM OIL IS DISGUSTING AND DESERVES TO BE DISPOSED OF AND SO DOES EVERY JAR OF NUTELLA AND SO ON!!

Imagine that the remaining orangutans are going to be humans in the future and then all the people from the future think: Oh no they destroyed their home! Humans were terrible back then….

I wish "environmentalists" would stop targeting palm oil like it's the cause of deforestation. Without palm oil, there would be much more land used for less land-efficient oils, and so deforestation would INCREASE!

Given the extremely small percentage of global farmland dedicated to tropical oil trees, the focus needs to be on replacing non-tropics-specific crops in existing agricultural land instead of clearing new land.

In terms of actual activism, there are 3 main targets:

    1. Create a global incentive structure for countries with valuable ecosystems to keep some of their land undeveloped. Rich industrialized countries would pay annually into a fund which then pays out to specific target countries based on how much of their designated endangered land is actually being kept safe.

    2. Establish global food security guarantees for tropical countries, to make it safe for them to convert existing farmland from domestic production to tropics-specific export crops. This would be an international treaty guaranteeing full and fairly priced market access to the non-tropical signatories' food products under all circumstances. Additionally, a substantial emergency food stockpile must be included, to ensure that tropical signatories arent screwed in case there's a global shortage and critical non-tropical signatories decide not to honor the treaty.

    3. Direct aid programs must be set up in regions that will be converting their farmland, to ensure the local population does not lose out. In cases where subsistence agriculture is being replaced, that aid must include all that's required to transition to an industrialized service-based economy, so lots of education, healthcare, infrastructure, housing, industry, etc. Thus it would be free development aid for countries that opt in.

Personally, I would pay for this with punishing taxes on beef, since beef production is the main pressure on global agricultural land. And add punishing taxes on wild-caught fish too, while at it.

I have visited malaysia last year…i think deforestation there is not that serious as many think..they have reserved many forest for the wild animals to live peacefully and they have more forest than what many countries can found on their own land .orang utan is fine under the government protection..stop this propaganda..their palm oil industry is a great option to be an alternative to other oils which are more detrimental to the earth's bio environment. Please take a visit there and you will understand the real situation there.

That’s it, the pivotal moment humans were very subtly reminded that we are animals, too.
