Industrial evolution: Can the Green Deal empower business & consumer change? | Euronews Debates

Published

on

The Green Deal is a set of EU policy initiatives for achieving climate neutrality by 2050, while strengthening Europe’s economic competitiveness and establishing the EU as a global leader in tackling climate change.

Goals include cutting the EU’s greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50 per cent by 2030, scaling up the circular economy, and implementing carbon pricing to influence a shift in consumer and business behaviour.
What will these policies look like when applied in the real world of manufacturing, production and technology? How can Europe adopt the Green Deal without losing its industries? And do we have the technology available to achieve climate neutrality by 2050?

All of these questions and more will be put to our panel of industry leaders and experts during the debate organised by Euronews in association with the European Round Table for Industry and moderated by Euronews’ Méabh McMahon.

For a proper investment we need a secure the global policy since it's carbon-based matured.
How about creating a new GREEN currency to fund this project formed from clean energy exchange?!
Let's create the economy of the future. The future is now.

The fraud of a green future is that it will be controlled by western imperialists. The purpose of which will be to ensures no industrial growth, infrastructure or national sovereignty. All the while keeping nations foolish enough to jump on board in perpetual debt slavery with no means of production necessary to extinguish ever growing debts.
Progressive modernity will be unravelled and we will be sent back to the middle ages.
Where and how you live, how much you earn, what work you do, who you can marry, how many children you will be allowed to have, how much tax you will pay, what clothes you can wear, what food you can eat and in what quantities, what entertainment you will have access to, and where you can travel to, your every movement thought and action will all be sanctioned and controlled with the harshest of penalties for anyone disagreeing with it.

It will be hell on earth.

Anything that doesn't deal with the true cause of income inequality and the rapidly increasing wealth of the people at the top at the expense of the people at the bottom is a waste of time.

Come up with new economically practical technology that people in freedom will want to have transition. The Idea of Carbon tax is a way of bondage and unrest forcing people to pay someone else to allow pollution to continue. Carbon is not yours to charge taxes on- because it is unfair for the poor. What about co2 scrubber technology? And what if these self appointed gods over climate are wrong, and too much carbon is removed throwing things out of balance- plants suffer, and food crops, and people, much like after a 4 year hiatus of Chem-Trails, when I took my daughter to the park, 1-28-21, I saw the massive Chem-Trails operations start again, covering the western sky, over Louisiana and Texas, going on, two weeks ago, and I said to my wife that in a week or two we'll get colder weather; and sure enough an arctic polar vortex was able to slip further down south into that pocket of artificially cooled area sprayed with fine hazy white particles out of planes that we watched cause overcast. I suspect if true, the idea is to keep cooler air from warming up too soon, like they were holding over winter by blocking some sun light with particles as scientist suggested. Course I can not verify what the Planes were spraying, nor if the Government is carrying out such operations, but if true, Texas and other places suffered the error of overkill. The Irony is I have been looking at clear skies void of chem-trails during Trump Presidency, and soon as Biden was sworn in, the chem trail started appearing again I suspect is part of Climate mitigation, but that in error they over sprayed and the anomalous weather was the result.

euronews U talk – U-talk tackles sexism

Published

on

“I am Ana from Lisbon. I would like to know how can we put an end to sexism and to the prevailing social differences between men and women which is an ongoing problem in the world?”

To answer Ana’s question U-talk asked Belgian feminist and member of the ‘Dare to be feminist’ collective Laure Juteau to comment:

“Sexism is all about putting people in boxes as soon as we meet them, labelled either ‘man’ or ‘woman’. As soon as they deviate from that, even a little, they are quickly reminded to get back into line and play their role.
