Easy to see how Kane fell for Southgate. Gareth is terribly charming, sweet and self-effacing.

Not keen on Romesh, can't lie to you. He's got this mean-spirited, smirky, condescending hipster aura that just comes across so poorly on camera (say it's 'wit' or 'sarcasm' or "you don't get it" all you like–I know the difference). Southgate though comes over like a lovely bloke.

OH MY GOD!!! What is this sorcery!? How can anything be this funny!? Absolutely bloody HILARIOUS, I have not laughed this much in years, I cannot stop! My wife made the mistake of watching the video too, we both now are in a constant state of laughter. The neighbours overheard and decided to watch it too, next thing we know the whole neighborhood is hysterical! This video is lethal!

Gareth actually seems to have a great sense of humour, we only ever get to see the serious side of him on the touchline so it's nice to see the more human side of him.

That "let's just get through a knockout game" mentality is kind of why I never believe they'll win it, and ultimately they don't believe it, same as Tottenham, they will make it to the odd final, but they'll just be happy to be there while the other team go on to win it
