   The first mistake people make in war is not having a big enough imagination. For everybody who's saying no way Putin tries to take the gap simply are not thinking how a dictator does. It's very possible this happens and no it wouldn't trigger WW3 or a nuclear war.

   For now there is no real threat against NATO from Russia. Before Russia rebuilds Poland will get HIMARS ang K239. So it looks like there should be no problem with Kaliningrad and its surroundings, because all military targets located there are tracked and can be neutralized in a few minutes. Artillery, Himars and K239 systems will get the job done faster than Russian propagandists would like.

   This would be an attack against NATO. Irrelevant of what the EU will or not do, if NATO does not go to war with Russia then it’s pretty much game over for NATO and US; not going to happen. So basically an attack on Suwalki is the beginning of NATO Russia/ Belorussia war

   Kaliningrad is now completely surrounded by NATO and is in short distance of countless NATO military bases. NATO could level Kaliningrad in hours and there would be no "gap" to close. What few troups existed in Kalinnigtrad before were all sent to be slaughtered in Ukraine last year. Kaliningrade is a sitting duck now. All these discussions about closing Suwalki gap now are just delusional.

    If Belarus, Wagner or Russia tries to take it NATO should immediately attack Kaliningrad. Eye for an eye 👁️. Poland is after all NATO and it has 2 million Polish people there, far far far outnumbering other nationalities. Russia will try some sort of “Russian speaking people are being attacked therefore we must take it over”, IE 2008 Georgia style . Don’t give them an inch.

    Stalin cleverly napped Kaliningrad. Best time to close the gap on Christmas Eve. Will Nato react under Art 5? Quoting Chamberlain again over Czechoslovakia in 1938 I doubt apart from "huffing & puffing" if there will be ANY reaction. Western public opinion will not support or endorse war over these countries

    At last a full article to day's in The Guardian. It claims there are important Belarus & Wagner maneuvers being conducted now. It is very strange the threat has been known for years but there are, despite this, very few Nato and or Lithuanian troops to prevent such quick closure of the gap. Another valid question is IF gap closed how does NATO propose to reinforce its forces in the 3 Baltic countries safely & swiftly? Excellent well exlained video.

    But NATO has a lock on the Baltic, so, even as a pain in the rear water supply is, the Baltic States aren't "completely isolated."

    Nothing would make me happier than if Putin and the Russians were stupid enough to attack. Finally the American military could be unleashed and Russia would be annihilated and I mean that literally.
    The thread then goes on to tout The Russian military and even more laughably the Belarusian military…
