You are making the same mistakes the west overall is doing. Only thinking about legitimate and illigitimate. Right or wrong… That is not how this world works, and certainly not how this war will be solved.

    Russia has always been
    – as well as its Russian dominated successor Soviet Union
and today´s fascist Russia dominated by Putin and his "siloviki" –
a dictatorship which suppresses not only the authority – greedy Russians
but all the other people which Russia colonized during the last 500 years.
Russia must lose this brutal colonial war of aggression it started against democratic Ukraine
in order to have the chance to liberate itself from the fascist Putin regime
and become a democracy for the first time in its existence!

YouTube channel or Professor John J Mearsheimer, (late) Professor Stephen F Cohen and Henry Kissinger 🤔

Post Crimea? You mean the wests failed attempt to seize the Russian Black Sea Fleet in its Crimea home base? And why wouldn't Russia be concerned considering the wests stirring of civil war in Syria, the Black Sea Fleet's Mediterranean base.

Mearsheimer doesn't claim Russia is right. He simply points out the realist argument. That nothing happens in isolation.

The conflict in Ukraine is a direct result of US/EU expansionist foreign policy toward Russia spreading back to the 1990s. We had the opportunity of peace with Russia but that didn't serve US interests. Constant threat of war with Russia does.

I disagree with your “moral” point about the invasion/special operation. You left out massive chunks of relevant information such as the way Nazis Ukrainian forces have been shelling civilians in the Donbas for 8 years. Seems like a justification to me anyway. That’s not the only thing you left out but I did expect this video to be unbiased.

Theres a high power offcial that work for the pentagon talked about how the United States is going into the middle east to destabalize multiple countries. Is that right? What gives the US the right. Reply back to me if you want me to send you the link about what i just said. Our News stations are privatized so obvi theres subjectiveness and a narrative to be followed. Because Russia does not want the West to rule the world.

  27. @igaTrinit

    February 22, 2024 at 6:38 am

    This is a discouraging video.
    1. "The West may or may not be partially to blame before Crimea, but definitely not after" – There's a huge logical issue here. You're forgetting about Georgia, which was basically the same. And if you're saying the West may or may not be partially to blame before Crimea, that means the West may or may not be partially to blame for Georgia. And since Georgia had a very similar scenario, that means the West may or may not be to partially blame for post-Crimea.
    2. "The West didn't ignore Putin's demands, they just didn't find them legit" – That's just a words game. It's basically the same thing.
    3. "The West did it first" argument – that is not the point. The point is that when in the name of it's national security the US carries out a military operation on the other side of the world toppling a regime or supporting insurgents, everyone's is more or less ok with that. Yes, there's some talks about "bring our boys back" and "why are we wasting money on that?", but that's about it. And when Russia does the same on it's borders, suddenly it's considered an evil imperialist. It's not about "who did it first". It's about the level playing field.
    4. "Abiding the rules" – firstly, it's again a question of a level playing field. It is ok for some reason for the West not to follow the rules, but not for Russia. And secondly, why should Russia follow the rules that ignore it's interests of security? Obviously there should be some compromise on both sides, but there hasn't been a lot of it.
    5. "Putin's speeches suggest he's an imperialist" – his actions don't though. He could have easily taken the whole of Georgia in 2008 and and didn't. And obviously his speeches after starting the war became more militaristic. That's only logical.
    6. "Illegal annexation of Crimea" – how come separating Kosovo or supporting Syrian insurgents is legal, but separating Crimea is not legal?
    7. "Annexing Crimea was stupid" – what a nice phrasing. By that point the idea of having a pro-Russian president had been gone, and it was time to act in a more brutal manner. And form a military/geographical/resources standpoint that was not stupid at all.

  28. @vatroslavmorbidovic4105

    February 22, 2024 at 6:38 am

Crimea part was not "stupid". By that logic, situation with Kosovo was also stupid, but since it was NATO doing, no one seemed to care. Because, Westerners seem to act based on premise "it is ok when we do it". SMH

If the article goes on about Putin being okay with a neutral Ukraine, if he actually was before, something would have changed between that time to today that changed his views. Like Hitler wouldn’t be extremely anti-Jewish in his views until later in life when things changed for him and later on he goes on to become chancellor. The same can be said for other people, normal civilians or people of a high position, they may be different back then, but something changes that makes them different today…

Mearsheimer the intelligent 'expert' can't get rid of his american shadow. Crimea joining RF was done by adhering international law, but he keeps talking about annexation and "Putin took Crimea". Words matter and by using these he lets americans know what he really thinks and as a result he's painting Putin as a vilain. Mearsheimer let's talk about the us' actions the past decades.

The Fed, the Bank of England and Switzerland created and financed Hitler and the Third Reich to kill the USSR. And at the Nuremberg trials, the ex-president of the Reichsbank and the Minister of Economics of Nazi Germany, Hjalmar Schacht, suggested that, for the sake of justice, those who nurtured the Third Reich should be put on trial, while mentioning the American corporations General Motors and Ford, as well as the personal manager of the Bank of England Norman Montague. More details about this are written in the book by Professor of Political Economy at the University of Washington Preparat Guido Giacomo "Hitler, inc. How Britain and the United States created the Third Reich."

The Anglo-Saxons became the root cause and organizers of the bloodiest war in history. History repeats itself again. The Anglo-Saxons nurtured and finance neo-Nazi organizations in Ukraine that kill civilians in Ukraine. Only two countries voted against the UN resolution against the glorification of Nazism: the United States and Ukraine.

For example, the American site Antiwar in its article "Partnering With Neo-Nazis in Ukraine: An Inconvenient History" wrote that the United States is cooperating with Ukrainian neo-Nazis in the war against Russia. The history of this cooperation goes back many years. Moreover, the Americans are well aware of the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists against humanity. But the current Ukrainian neo-Nazis are needed by America in the fight against Russia.

Financing of the “Right Sector” banned in Russia and its “military wings” – the “Volunteer Ukrainian Corps” and the “Ukrainian Volunteer Army”, a number of other neo-Nazi groups is carried out through such foreign organizations as the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (Germany), the British Council, Congress of Ukrainians in Canada. Actually, the coup d'etat in Ukraine in 2014 was carried out on the initiative of Western politicians, because of which Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions decided to withdraw from Ukraine, not wanting to be under the rule of neo-Nazis. NATO instructors have been training militants of the neo-Nazi formation "Azov" for several years.

In November 2015, the US Congress removed amendments that would have limited the supply of weapons, training and other assistance to the neo-Nazi Ukrainian militia "Azov Battalion".

In December 2017, Richard Vandiver, a spokesman for the American weapons company AirTronic, said that the sale of lethal weapons to Ukraine was carried out in "very close coordination" with the US Embassy, the State Department, the Pentagon and the Ukrainian government. A few weeks later, the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab confirmed in a January 2018 report that Azov was the recipient of the weapons.

Member of the House of Representatives from Georgia Marjorie Taylor Green said that since the Obama days, Democrats have been funding Ukrainian neo-Nazis.

According to former US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter, the US, British and Canadian military visited Ukraine to create nationalist groups in the west of the country. Subsequently, these people overthrew the legitimate President Yanukovych and began to pursue a violent policy. Their influence has become so serious that neo-Nazis even threatened ex-head of state Petro Poroshenko, who was ready to recognize the special status of Donbass in 2015, Ritter noted. A similar fate befell the incumbent President Volodymyr Zelensky.

I thought this video will be really good but ended up totally medicore and like those reply videos that utterly fail. Mearsheimer’s arguments are 100%. You would only start questioning (weak arguments) when you think Russia is just a country (it is not, it is a superpower whether we agree with them or not). That is why I tend to be such a realist. Cuz reality is just real.

The western media Tsunami of Misinformation and Disinformation around the Ukraine Conflict is Pathetic to the Highest Degree. The Politicians, Journalists and TV Presenters, or should I say Enablers, who dispense these Distortions and Deceptions on a Daily Basis, have Sold their Souls and are Wilfully Deceiving the Many Millions of Men, Woman and Children, who look to them for The Truth of the day. They lead them down a path of Propaganda, where the Truth becomes a Lie and the Lie becomes the Truth and the Dominant World Power Bellows: Truth is whatever We Say Truth Is; W.M.D…. Words of Mass Deception. Enabling that kind of propaganda led to the Atrocities of the Iraq War in modern times and Nazi Germany in World War 2, in which, Russia Defeated the Evil Empire at Great Cost: 27 Million Russian Souls – Vastly Greater than the British/American Allied-Army Losses Combined. Of Course, Fake News has been with us from the Beginning of Humanity ( Adam & Eve: put that apple Down ! ), but what is happening now in the United States and Europe is Off the Charts & Out of Orbit. It's more like….

….The United States of Fake: Fake Government System, Fake Governments, Fake Presidents, Fake Elections, Fake Polices, Fake Spokespeople, Fake Media, Fake Truth, Fake News, Fake Economy, Fake Banks, Fake Regulations, Fake Money, Fake Credit, Fake Debt, Fake Jobs, Fake Academia, Fake Science, Fake Religion, Fake Justice, Fake Law and Order, Fake Police, Fake Happiness, Fake Hair, Fake Faces, Fake Boobs, Those Zombies Really Do Look Fake, Fake Words, Fake Principles, Fake Morals and Fake Values. Please understand, I am referring to the Corrupt, Counterfeit American Political Regime and its Fruitage, and not to the Good Character of the American People. And, Unfortunately…

….the place where I come from, the UK, seems to be becoming the New 51st State of America. However – its Surprisingly Easy to see through the Smoke and Mirrors thrown up by the Corrupted Governments & their News Outlets. A little CAREFUL internet Research reveals a great deal of the Historical Truths, Facts and Context that have been Surgically Removed by the Bastardised Media. I myself was – initially – sceptical of this media coverage & carried out some research. I have Learned a Lot More Now and have No Shadow of Doubt, that the American Political Regime is Primarily Responsible for the Conflict in Ukraine. If anyone Doubts this Truth, please take a look at Professor John Mearsheimers Lecture on U-Tube entitled: Why is Ukraine the West's Fault and Oliver Stones Documentary: Ukraine on Fire. These are Good Places to start. Then you will be ready….

….to get your Thinking Gear around this: The Whole Thing starts to make sense when you realize that the American Political System has been Hijacked and is Completely Counterfeit. Of course, it has to Look and Feel a bit like the Real Thing, here n there, just like a Counterfeit Dollar Bill, or nobody will accept or Buy It ! The truth is; America is NOT a Democracy, it is a Bribed Corporate State, run and controlled by a World Wide Web of Corrupted Wealthy Elites, Powerful Corporations and Influential Organisations: The Shadow Establishment. Successive Governments Do Not Do the Will of the People, they Do the Will of the Corporate State. The Corporate State seeks to Enrich and Empower itself and Protect & Expand it's Dominance – Globally – at the Expense of Everything & Everyone Else; like a Cancer. The Lives of Other People, and things like Morals, Principles, Values, Ethics, Justice, Right and Wrong and Truth, mean Absolutely Nothing to these people. Because, you see, Right and Wrong and Truth is Whatever They Say Truth Is: Black is White & White is Black ! Funny – I used to think this was all Just….

….Conspirecy Theory ! But, if you take a look at the HISTORICAL RECORD, it will show You the Bloodied Criminal History of these Unelected, Unaccountable, Untouchable Global Elites, and what they have done with America & the World. Then You will See that They have Oppressed & Murdered Many Millions of Innocent People as They Undermine, Control, Plunder & Overthrow Governments around the World. Then You will Understand that They are Humanity's greatest threat, as They lead US to the Brink of Environmental Destruction and Thermo – Nuclear Annihilation, in their Insatiable Lust for Power and Wealth. Bad Things happen when Good People stand back and Do Nothing. Of course, many of the Shadowy Elites & their Family's may be OK in their nuclear-proof 1 000 year Bio – Bubbles, while Everyone Else is Vaporized or wiped out in the Long, Cold, Nuclear Winter.

NOTICE: Please Note, that This Notice – is Not Worth Noticing !!! Only Kidding: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR INFORMATION SOURCES ! For reliable & trustworthy Historical Facts and Evidence supporting my view, see any of the Lectures by Professor Noam Chomsky on U-Tube or any of his Many Books on American Political History. The Documentary Entitled: Federal Reserve, Not Federal, No Reserve is an Authoritative, Historical, Eye Popping Account of the Financial Corruptions of America & the Global Elites. The Documentary is over 3.5 hrs long, but is not to be missed, as it Removes the Mask and Reveals the Ugly Face of the Shadow Establishment, and will Shock You to the Core !

    Seek Truth & Best Wishes….
