It’s hotter than ever hears climate change talks
http://www.euronews.com/ Arctic ice is melting at an, “alarming rate”. That’s at the core of a report by the World Meteorological Organisation. Its findings were presented to the global climate change talks in Doha.
The ice has melted to its lowest recorded level this year and add to that other weather extremes is proof that climate change is happening before our eyes underlines the report. It has meant warmer temperatures explained Michel Jarraud, Secretary-General the World Meteorological Organisation.
“So definitely the message here is that the trend is not only continuing, but accelerating with the respect to the melting of the Artic ice and this is linked to the change in the temperature.”
That change has resulted in the first ten months of 2012 being the ninth warmest since records began in the mid-19th century. About 15,000 daily heat records were broken across the United States.
The WMO also reported on extreme weather conditions noting the Atlantic basin had an above average hurricane season for the third year running while Superstorm Sandy was particularly devastating.
The atmosphere has never been so polluted with concentrations of greenhouse gasses. They have risen constantly to reach record levels which will lead to continual climate change warns the WMO. The Geneva based organisation is a an agency of the United Nations.

euronews U talk – U-talk tackles sexism
“I am Ana from Lisbon. I would like to know how can we put an end to sexism and to the prevailing social differences between men and women which is an ongoing problem in the world?”
To answer Ana’s question U-talk asked Belgian feminist and member of the ‘Dare to be feminist’ collective Laure Juteau to comment:
“Sexism is all about putting people in boxes as soon as we meet them, labelled either ‘man’ or ‘woman’. As soon as they deviate from that, even a little, they are quickly reminded to get back into line and play their role.

at oelergodt , the 'born every minute' – I don't believe anyone that says , "oh my the climate is changing now more than ever, and it's going to be catastrophic, but if you let me tax you and tell you what kind of car to drive you'll be safe" – and you do, so enjoy the reaming, but don't ask me to join in the orgy of deception.
You call someone a 'conspiracy nut' if they refuse to be easily sucker'd and scammed by globalist billionaires and their puppets? Well alrighty then!
@FarFromEquilibrium

Good boy, you are saying exactly what you are supposed to and not seeing what you are not supposed to see. Carry on, you can have a good and obedient citizen stamp on your head , with a UN trademark too xD
@oelergodt

Yea, that's because journalists write the headlines, not the scientists- and lay people read these stories and parrot them. Of course it's BS, when you claim any other hot summer day is proof of global warming, just like the examples you bring up to in an attempt to undermine global warming are BS, because they are local, isolated events – and say next to Zilch about the GLOBAL warming trends. I'd be happy to link you to very public reports on this that show unambiguous warming trends globally.
@oelergodt

Fucking conspiracy nuts! Impossible to argue with because they can pull anything out of their ass, and feel zero shame. Doesn't matter that facts are stacked against them, they just claim it's part of a conspiracy that everyone is in on and carry on with an unchanged worldview no matter what is presented to them.. like arguing with creationists.
Do you ever actually read scientific reports about the global warming trend or do you just accept the politically motivated headlines you agree with?
@FarFromEquilibrium
February 22, 2024 at 8:24 pm
No it never occurred to a scientist that stands to benefit a lot from going along with something and stands to lose everything by opposing it to stick his neck out and say something politically heretical. Scientists are incredibly easily intimidated, that's always been generally the case, but it's far worse now with the media in your face 24-7 and the long arm of politics in almost every aspect of life.

Bullshit. Sweden had its coldest summer on record topped with the coldest day in 80 years. Ironically it was the same day that Hilary Clinton was there to discuss "Global Warming"
Just this week was Moscow's heaviest November snow in 50 years.
Why is it I have to bump into these stories in order to hear about them? Yet every summer, as soon as the temperature goes above 90 on any given day. Everyone starts screaming Global warming.
Its called fucking SUMMER! Its supposed to do that.
@oelergodt
February 22, 2024 at 8:24 pm
Yea.. you would think that, wouldn't you? If you get your news from specific youtube channels or climate hoax websites, they love to say the same shit over and over again. As if it never occurred to scientist who make a living from doing research within this field to even consider taking the sun into account. But the climate is warming faster than the what the sun can account for, and is modeled to keep warming even after the 13 year solar max next year.

And you think the big oil corp will not pass its cost down? You must be crazy. The last guy on the chain always picks up the slack and that is you and me. We will end up paying for it in higher prices.
By saying this in no way I am defending the big oil in their horrible environmental practices.

I wondered about this for awhile. Seems I never see any focus on the countless areas that have had record snowfall like Chicago and Alaska. Or record cold winters like the UK.
Feels like I am being sold garbage.
Winter of 2010 was the UK's coldest winter on record topped by the winter of 2011. If the winter of 2012 tops it. Will we see any stories on that? In August Sweden had its coldest day in 80 years. Yet not a peep from the CarbonNazis.
I smell global warming bullshit.
@DarknesSoldier
February 22, 2024 at 8:24 pm
Yes, it would, but if what we're doing with lowering the carbon emissions is that after those 100 years, the temperature will start to drop to normal levels again. But if emit more CO2 as now, in 100 years, the temperatures will continue to rise.
@reprimand33

@PUMPADOUR
February 22, 2024 at 8:24 pm
Climate change it probably happening, but I am not sure if humans are to blame.
Regardless, I WILL NOT PAY ANY CARBON TAXES!
It all sounds as the next power grab to me.
@FarFromEquilibrium
February 22, 2024 at 8:24 pm
I wonder why none of the so called 'models' that these so called scientists use ever take inconsistencies in Sun intensity into account? All a big scam to tax everyone in order to make a huge slush fund for the same people that caused the banking crisis to play with. Screw all these a-holes!
@arizonatsunami
February 22, 2024 at 8:24 pm
Even if this rapid global warming is real, there is nothing we can do about it. Even if all carbon emissions were stopped tomorrow, the Earth would continue to warm for hundreds of years into the future.
