Why is anyone taking what the Russian government is saying at face value? If they say they are retreating from Kherson it means they have probably left as many spies and Wagner group mercenaries in the city to hurt Ukrainian forces and people in the city.
Even in this war it’s happened more then once- the Russians say something, the west takes it at face value, and then the Russians do the complete opposite!

Does anyone else think that the footage of the russian military council meeting looks a little… I'm not sure if this is the right word but, "staged"? "scripted"? There are these little breaks or jumps in the footage that look like frames have been skipped or cut from the recording. Not saying this discussion didn't happen (Im not that far into conspiracy theorist territory yet) just that there is the weird edited feeling I get from watching this video.

    Oh!! Now you want negotiations…
Do you now…!!? To negotiate now would be a mistake… Drive the sword in and don't fail….end it, in order to save lives….. press the attack… Ukraine needs to press the battle. Bring down the whole regime. Nothing short of total victory is acceptable… Don't give them time to regroup.

  14. @JonniePolyester

I keep hearing the ludicrous statement : ‘All war ends in negotiation’ – I can’t find who this is attributed to. After 4 decades of studying history I can think of some wars that ended with negotiation: the 30 Years War for example with Peace of Westphalia but certainly not WW2 – Both Germany & Japan were destroyed the latter with 2 of the most horrendous bombs known to man along with the fire-bombing of their cities… so were the ‘negotiations’ : ‘Your country is completely fxxked -give up?’

    Possible concessions:

Security concessions: that for the foreseeable future (1-5) years, Ukraine would not join NATO or the EU.
Ceasing war games and cooperation with the west.
Special legal protection for Russian citizens on Ukraine's soil, an agency to oversee such protection, with possible cooperation in this matter.
Favorable economic conditions for russian businesses in Ukraine.
Anything else that comes to mind?

All conditioned on that Russia ceases any military, economic and cyber aggression against Ukraine And it's citizens, at home and abroad.

With ongoing verifications for the first year and every 3 to 6 months after that.

  39. @elgracko

    February 22, 2024 at 7:56 pm

They would obviously use the negotiating table to buy time until the 300,000 conscripts reach the field; that's one of thier cards. Ukraine's card is their ongoing victories and the prospects of further russian soldiers dead.
Ukraine should pressure them fiercely on the negotiating table and on the battle field.

  40. @LuniFoxo

    February 22, 2024 at 7:56 pm

Western Ukrainian here. Russian Media definitely doesn't hide the fact that their army retreated, but they are definitely pissed and still spread various lies. Meanwhile in Kherson people are absolutely euphoric, greeting the Armed Forces of Ukraine with hugs, lots of "thank you" messages. People of Kherson are also getting rid of Russian vandalism, getting rid of billboards etc. Power lines and communication are still highly cut off but television and radio are working again. November 11 will forever go down in history as the day Kherson was freed. Слава Україні!

3:28 Why does it has a vibe of a bad amateur porn? xdd Why are they making a mini-film out of it to begin with?
An order was given, decision made, execute it, why make a mini performance for the cameras? (they likely already conversed about the withdrawl, so there is 0 practical use of this tape lol)

  42. @papasom3337

If you really cared about the lives of your servicemen, you would have NEVER invaded your neighbors. You should know, you have to bring a ass to kick an ass! 49. @LoveWatchingNDEs

Let other countries pick up the weapons slack. Ukraine has tried to negotiate many times, but Russia just stabbed them in the back, over and over.

If Russia is only using part of their vast resources, why are they needing help with weapons from its allies? If Putin declared those 4 parts of Ukraine as new Russian territories, why isn’t he trying to stop Ukraine from taking it back?

You know why? Cause Russia doesn’t have a real military with real men wanting to be in it. It only has disabled and drugged up prisoners and men they literally stole off the streets. Plus, the Russian police and Government has been going to poor parts of Russia taking men out of their homes against their will.

They wait in the lobbies of apartment buildings, for men to come down the elevator or stairs and force them into vans and trucks to force into conscription. 85% of the men ‘fighting’ in Ukraine don’t want to be there. Thousands have surrendered just so they could have good food and water.

The guns they were given are a joke. Rusted out WWII weapons. Putin’s whole ‘special military operation’ is just a big lie to tell the whole world and Russian people, so it wouldn’t look like a war. Well, Putin lied to them all and now over 100,000 are dead. If you think I’m lying go there yourself and see.

He promised money for family, no money, he promised good equipment, good, water, benefits. They got NONE of that. Quit watching that fake news Russian propaganda and see for yourself what kind of liar and devil Putin is.

If after all that you still believe he is great and everything is fine, then you yourself is evil and incapable of caring your fellow citizens or others. Forgive them Father for they know not what they do.

If they leave every part of Ukraine including Crimea, then maybe. Nothing less is acceptable. USA has given a lot, it’s time all the other NATO countries pick up the slack. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
