Last month, the head of the British Army caused a bit of a storm after admitting that the British public should start getting ready for a war with Russia, and introduce some kind of a conscription. But, the United Kingdom isn’t the only country thinking about a conscription. So, why is everyone thinking about upping their army numbers, and what’s causing the crisis?

Why would anyone want to fight for a government that's actively g-cidal against them, and specifically in a deliberately manufactured wxr (by their own self-g-cidal governments) against the only country in the world of your general macro-ethnicity that is opposed to your g-cide. Western governments are literal pxrasitoids in every sense of the metaphor. The caterpillars even fight off hyper-parasitoids targeting the parasitoids that just K-ed it, which is exactly how Western governments behave towards the wasp larva robbing it of its own life and future generations.

Those young people look frighteningly fat rather than fighting fit! I served for a decade in the 80s but would not serve today. The illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and wokeness are a turnoff. The politicization of my senior officers is also a turnoff. Also, I don’t want to shower or stay in a trench with a man with a vagina nor a woman with a penis who are on hormones and other medication. The mental and medical state of my comrades is important to me. Call me whatever “phobe” you like! The Westernsocial contract has been broken by our new elites.

The proverbial 'they' are in a panic over the party being over. They would prefer the comfort of perpetual managed crises they can manage narratives on than admit that the system cannot carry on. 'They' would prefer a state of perpetual crises with a small trickle of blood filling a bath to having a hard collective look in ourselves and the world we have spinning too fast. The conversation is too difficult so lets just forget MAD and distact people with an increasingly dangerous game of chicken with the Russians. We only need to say business as usual for a little bit longer.
We are in the greatest depression people, should any historians be about in the aftermath they will see a chain of events of a system teetering from 2008. Perhaps even before.
I'm sure all this history stems from problematic consumption and equity. To even ensure sufficient supply either requires sacrifices to the extent it would make people wonder the point on an individual basis or it requires somewhere else to be tapped. Even green energy can't cut it and fusion is still a pipe dream. Even abundant energy wouldn't be as convenient as it sounds as that might challenge the social order. Indeed nevermind global warming from oil etc the temperature might well go up if there was no financial consequences of everyone keeping their lights on.
A rising global population is no longer needed for progress anymore. The paradigm is going to collapse, we are just seeing the system trying to cope with keeping the wool in front of our eyes.
Perhaps a new cold war helps lets just consume resources from having everyone on perpetual edge or alert. Keep the young occupied by a war that may not come. Hopefully if it does the world can send its best (Or worst) to hurt or maim each other. Those that don't respawn don't need to be fed or perhaps we can make it all happen in the safety of their own homes. A virtual war, survivors get to eat whilst the dead can be cleaned up by the AI and recycled for the sake of anyone who would prefer red meat to bugs or plants right.

I'm Croatian and I'm against mandatory military service because it means pushing people in the army, who don't want to be in the army. Instead, I advocate formation of Home Guard. Local units made of volunteer men who would be dedicated to defense of your own hometown or a county in a case of war.

I think if a real global threat emerged that was invading your own country then yeah a lot of people would fight for their countries the trouble is people don’t want to go fight in Israel or Ukraine because it’s not their country and frankly Russia really isn’t that big a threat.

so what would you fight for? Thanks to the left the west has lots its identity, unity and culture. There are plenty of social issues that cause further division like the lgbtqia+ agenda, climate, and promotion of other races at the expense of one. Forcing your twisted agenda on people is not democracy. Hope the government and the left understand that they have created a weak society.
