   Southampton controlled the game, but for all there passing and possesion i dont really think they were urgent enough and they were too happy to just pass it around and cause little to no threat other than shots outside the box and che adams goal at the end, with the domination they had in the game it should of been alot more comfortable a win than it was and against the bigger teams in the championship it could of cost them more than it did in this game

    Usually saints play bad at the later points of the game but today they really stayed at a good level the whole game come on saints

    Southampton dominated possession and Wednesday just didn't close down quick enough.

    Both these teams will look different in 6 weeks time. Wednesday signing stronger players, Southampton loosing their best players!

    Well played Southampton from a Wednesday fan. You's are gonna walk the championship with quality like that. I just hope Wednesday's signings can start to gel and get to grips with what's going to be thrown at us this year.

    At least we seem to be getting more stoppage time which hopefully will stop time wasting 6 mins first half 9 mins full time Wednesday defended quite well but lacked possession in midfield which gave them few chances to attack

    Absolutely dominated them the entire game, easily could have been 4 or 5, they had one shot on target. Pleased we have adapted to the fast pace of the championship so quickly. Hopefully we'll have a decent season. Up the saints 🔴⚪
