I am 52, but that time (when Gilberto, Jobin and Astrud released their first album) my late parents were in their 20-ties. I was even not able to ask them (as I simply never thought about it before they passed away more than 20 years ago) if they listened to this music, but will be always connecting these two (their youth and this bossa nova) in my mind whilst listening to these tunes…

RIP Gilberto. Please say hi for me to Jobim in heaven. I dont understand Portuguese but your "Chega de Saudade" is my most favorite bossa nova. I am lucky to have listened to your masterpiece. Sometimes I wish I could listen to you and Jobim live.
