Peopel who think ronaldo cant run a game started watching football since past 2 years
At united ist spell 2003-2009 he was a midfielder he dominated premier league best league in the world ….by his playmaking too go watch old clips
2009-20015 at real madrid he was winger again his playmaking those years unnoticeable
2016-2019 he was absolute clutch whit his team not that much playmaking but not a poacher too did 3 peat
Then his juventus career absolutely brilliant great playmaking had 22 assists and 101 goals in 2 years and a great playmaking too
His playmaking is underrated because its being comapred with leo otherwise overall ronaldo is the greatest player of all time and fighting corruption throughout his career
Ronaldo 2009-2013 his real madrid early years where madrid was an average team prime barca dominated those years otherwise roanaldo stats would've been more better

I think this is stupid debated for those people who understood football well. Those people who knew well football and educated well in football absolutly will choose LIONEL MESS from Ronaldo and any players. Lionel Messi is not just about goal, but Messi is art, vision, assisting, play maker, composer of the game, super and unmatch dribel, genius and creative footbaler, super technique, tactical, and for sure goal machine. Ronaldo just about goal and only goal made him close bit in Messi level but actually still far behind Lionel Messi's place interm of the quality of player.

Cr7 has done a nice job with him image. Calling himself the goat and the siu celebrations, abs etc all things to elevate his status and nothing to do with playing football. Many fans started to like him cause of that. I cant think of a single category in which he is better than lionel apart from air game.

For me is Cristiano Ronaldo.
The GOALS, the way he played and adapted his game throughout the year’s and the different leagues. The teams he played for and the way he carried himself. Something about CR7 and all the records that have followed him makes him the GOAT for me.
And btw comparing Maradona with Messi is absolutely laughable.

To say Ronaldo is better just because Messi didn't play in the Premiere League is a joke of an excuse to say CR7 is better. Literally, Messi is the GOAT. Premiere league or not, he would still stomp. Doesn't matter what tournament it is, he plays the way he plays and that's it.

U want to see why ronaldo is truly the goat. Don’t hate this straight away, just deep this… they got three Argentinians in this and barely any ronaldo fans when is known there are billions who see ronaldo as the goat. Not a single Portuguese and they chose more messi fans then ronaldo despite the most decent rational being they both are the goats and they are incomparable in nature. Ronaldo can be the goat without messi being thought of… messi being the goat will forever be shrouded by ronaldo on his shoulder breathing down his neck. The insecurity said it all. Ronaldo doesnt need the praise, he doesn’t need to be called magical or clutch. He is the sport and so much more to be honest. When messi retires football will stand still. When ronaldo retires not just the whole of football or sports- the world will stand still in his immaculate awe. The most complete weak foot, heading, physically gifted long shot scorer, presence and clutch personified. CR7 🐐 imo. Keep trying to convince yourself otherwise. 99 wc couldn’t🤫

Guys just stop. Messi has the trophies, both more and better. Messi has the stats with a better goals and assist ratio. That right there should prove who’s the best, I don’t see any more arguments that need to be made…
Taking into account that Messi is the by far best dribbler I have ever seen and probably the best passer as well, while still being a goal scoring machine and incredibly targeted by the opposing defense, I mean like, come on… Taking into account the magic we see from him, all the magical goals, genius off the ball movements and incredible leadership qualities, I mean look what he did to Inter Miami! A team last in the league, not winning a game in the last six is now arguably the best in the MLS with Messi scoring 9 goals in 6 games in the process at the age of 36 and not even knowing the language! That is not even close to what Ronaldo did to Al Nassr, not even comparable. That is just goated stuff from Lio Messi.
Meanwhile, I can’t find a lot that Ronaldo is best at, maybe doing the knuckleball and jumping the highest? Not to forget the six pack… Because I know that I have seen better goal scorers than Ronaldo as well as better dribblers. Not to put any disrespect on Ronaldo but come on guys…
Also, not even talking about the status they have in the national teams, Ronaldo being ignored and disrespected by his own teammates and Messi being a loved leader that everyone looks up too. I’m NOT a Ronaldo hater btw, I remember crying as he walked off the pitch in the euros 2016 final even though I’m half French for example… sorry for a long comment, just trying to end a debate 🤷🏼♂️

Messi, Maradona and Pele, that's always been the top 3 (the debate is what order). Cristiano is a great athlete and a versatile finisher (headers, long range shots, penalty box etc.), dribbling is ok (nowhere near as technically gifted as the top 15 to 20 ever in terms of ball control), ultimately he isn't even the best Ronaldo.
