    another well researched video
that was the thing that baffled my why were planes flying over a war zone where both sides had access to weapons to bring down planes Russia had banned there planes from flying over but the EU said its fine as Ukraine said its safe i never understood why this wasn't fully explored in the court case about the planes downing it was basically glossed over i always believed those making such a decision should have bin held equally responsible.

    P.S. Idiocy number 2
    1. Starts by claiming "pro-russian separatists in Ukraine started the war – Russia was only accused of sending supplies and weapons to them"
While in fact it was a russian intervention
    2. Shows that MH17 investigation revealed not just russian Buk anti-air system that downed MH17, but that people responsible were russian military commanders.
WHICH CLEARLY SHOWS THIS WAS A RUSSIAN MILITARY INTERVENTION AND NOT INTERNAL UKRAINIAN SEPARATISTS UPRISING

Why are you so pro-russian, TLDR News?

Russia got away with annexing Crimea because the majority of the people there are pro-russian..the same can be said about Donetsk and Luhansk regions which are also pro-russian, but they did not annexed those regions probably because they want the rest of Ukraine to stay out of Nato, they need a buffer zone..if they annexed Kiev for example they would need to kill millions of people otherwise there would be insurgence against a russian occupation, they cannot hold that region.. and Russia does not care about economic sanctions, as long as they can sell their gas and oil..as for military sanctions- there are none-Russia is a nuclear power, no one can touch them

Not just Crimea, but arround 70% of territory tat nowadays is part of Ukrainian state was given to them by Russia in order to win sympathies of former Polish and Austrian subjects from western part of todays Ukraine. Since western Ukrainians see Russia as enemy and agressor it would be rightful to return those territories to Russia. Not to mension that Ukrainians are in fact part of Russian nation. Ukraina simply means borderland. Don't forget that Russian statehood begined in todays Ukraine

  28. @war8036

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

Yeah no… The most believable theory from the west is that separatist shot down MH-17 with a missile system supplied to them by Russia…The initial argument that some of the most highly trained AAA troops in the Russian army shot down a large civilian airliner with a civilian transponder blaring can’t even be argued in any court! Thats why they backtracked and said it was an older system(9k37) that was from old stock(storage) and supplied to the Donbas separatist. Then the “investigation” just assumed by linking it to the nearest Russian ground forces AAA unit which is MUN: 32406 out of Kursk, which uses an entirely different missile(9k317,9k317M). “Arming and supporting separatist is against international law” Damn… The US and NATO need to be sued into the Stone Age then😂

  29. @locomotivefaox

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

Could really see Russia winning this case – at the very least the third point. Cutting off water to millions of people in a geopolitical hissy fit is a blatant humans rights abuse, weather Russia illegally annexed it or not, the people living there shouldn’t be subjected to drought because of it. Ukraine knew exactly what they were doing and that Russia could not quickly/easily supply the peninsula with water.

  30. @danc18

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

The absolute audacity of Mr Vladimir Bellend to invade and try to destroy Ukraine, claiming that he's "protecting the Russian 'majorities' " and to then sue the poor country. Really a shame shame people are brainwashed by him and support him.

Russia should just capture Constantinople and return it into an orthodox state while they are at it.

  32. @Cuplex1

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

That is a terrible intro, it distorts reality quite a bit to white wash Ukraine and thus removing them and the US from any blame. It could be pure ignorance, but then again unlikely because the events were never this distorted in the MSM to begin with. If the producers wanted to give a non biased accurate version of events, the facts are really not that hard to find if you dont rely solely on Wikipedia.

  33. @johnbest6987

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

Do you think that cutting water supply to an entire region is criminal or not?

cutting off the tap water is a humanitarian crisis russia has not cut off oil to ukraine just manipulate the price to get back the cost of losing crimea. problem solved.

  41. @trent6319

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

If Ukraine is withholding fresh water from Crimea that's a pretty serious human rights violation.

  42. @deathsquad8891

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

Half of Europe should take Russia to court for crimes against humanity and against world peace

  43. @GenghisDon1970

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

I assume the court is highly biased, the first case has no chance. The second, about closing airspace, is rather interesting, in that it might well be so correct even a biased court might waver. The 3rd case, however, is the real deal. Will the Euro court follow the UN take? If it does, it sets up the seeds of many, many water wars to come this century. Being cut off from water is one of few ACTUAL just war scenarios, and it's cropping up all over. Ironic, as Russia seems poised to build desalination plants for Crimea, but in many other places, such actions will not be possible. A war brews now between Ethiopea & Egypt, over an Ethiopean dam that stunts the Nile. It's nearly on go, and Egypt's been building force projection. Ethiopea really does NEED the hydro-electic power too, probably more than any other in such a case. The UN law would be on Ethiopea's side (you do whatever you want inside your borders), but Egypt will be wholly justified to war over it, as it is anhilation/survival not to. Russia itself maintains power in central Asia in part by playing broker in such disputes: Uzbekistan, Kyrgistan & Tajikistan teeter on the brink of a water war over another needed hydro electic dam that takes needed waters from the others. The time of the water wars are nigh…Russia is smartly testing & perhaps trapping the Euro court on that point.
I hope the Euro court can rise above petty bias & has some judges of true wisdom, because some of the precidents are goign to be HUGE in this century. I hold next to no hope of such, but a shred will have to do. Water must be sorted equitably & farily, or else we shall destroy ourselves all the sooner. No water=no peace, and that will be impossible to deny (their garbage propoganda will not work). European courts might not even understand water issues well enough, and once more render themselves utterly irrelevant hacks if they aren't careful.

  44. @thx1138sixnine

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

Regardless of whether Western governments supported the extralegal overthrow of a legitimately elected Ukranian government or Russia supported Ukranian secessionists claiming self-determination there are some objective facts:
    * Ukraine was engaged in a civil war including missile fire
    * Ukraine did not shut down the airspace of the conflict zone

That is a legitimate basis for a claim of negligence.

There is a question which did not occur to me until seeing this story. Did the Western Ukrainian government see themselves as potentially benefiting from commercial civilian casualties in the public opinion war? They have been trying to get access to more sophisticated missiles.

  45. @Bengully

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

Russia is a joke how do they keep getting away with all of these crimes isn't it about time the rest of Europe did something about this.

  46. @adrianwhyatt1425

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

Russia could well win its case over the water supply.

  47. @solidsnake0408

    February 27, 2024 at 6:37 am

Your bias is so plain ! You take for a truth anything Holland Ukraine say and dismiss anything Russia have to say. Yeah you missing that Malaysia withdrawal as they saw that what Holland was doing was a kangaroo court with a conclusion that was made before hand.

  48. @mikaelesmith475

  49. @yehorbrailian5003

The Crimea was transferred to Soviet Ukraine in 1954, not in 1957. But, anyway, thanks for this video. It's very important to understand that Kremlin doesn't care so much about international law, annexing territories and using hybrid warfare against West.
