How secure is it to buy a Eurobond right now given the euro's depreciation, and what is the predicted gain each year or over the next five years?

Because Europe has no natural resources, it’s the same reason Spain had to leave and come to Mexico British had to come here to America.

I feel sad that even though I am investing, I don't have the brain power to dig through how each company is doing, is this a good time to buy stocks or not, my reserve of $450K is laying waste to inflation and I don't know what to do at this point tbh, I need solid data on market trajectory

Well , the weak Euro will help Germanys exports , German goods would be much more expensive without the weak Euro because Fuel and Energy costs are very high currently . But inside the Euro Area it will not help , there Prices and in addition the wages later will have to go up and fuel Inflation further . If the winter is not hard and a gas rationing for the Industry can be prevented , an recession will not be that deep . It will depend on how long Russia can afford a War which it wont win or how long Putin can stay in Power . After the War ends , sanctions on Russia will be lifted gradually , prices for fuel and Energy will go down .

It's a bit rough right now but as more and more people get solar panels on the roof the energy prices will fall eventually.

And this war might be one of the shortest and most pathetic attempts of taking over a country ever

I think it’s falling because of the risk of a full scale war. If that occurs, the regions directly impacted will suffer the most at first and USD will continue to be the safe haven CCY.

The British pound has tanked against the US dollar as well….not mentioned of course.
The Euro versus Pound is roughly in the same place (100 Euros= 87 UK Pounds…. Oct 10 2022.)
The Brits have predicted doom for the Euro since Day One. The British never mention their own dire Economic situation.
Britain is now (2022) Per Capita the poorest country in North-Western Europe.

The disadvantage with EU is they are affected badly and fall as of whole continent not of a single nation. Of diff gdp, of diff measurement of economy but of one currency. Now they act inseparably not of one body.

It is what it is! During this austere times, protecting one's capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if one loses one's capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.

Growth is cumulative cohesion of technology , power/ energy , productivity and output/ market buffered by optimised finances. EU has the Technology but is deficient in energy, logistic chain, productivity and markets due to effect of pandemic and the Ukrainian war. Productivity when reduced entails regressed employment, increased welfare state expenditure and recession through inflation of livelihood parameters. The Russian special operations probably tried to exploit the pandemic's economic instability but became an overkill in economic backlash. However the productivity of EU also suffered collateral degradation. This was definitely not the time for internecine conflict in Eurasia. It would have been disastrous if China- Taiwan issue also was pushed through. It points to a deliberate gameplay that almost worked. Man proposes God disposes may sound silly yet relevant? Haw. The West woke up late but probably in time to avoid a total collapse.
