   You can’t play Trent and Shaw because they’re both so attacking and lazy defensively at times. Playing both will expose the centre backs too much! You could only play both if they both understand if one goes the other has to stay and are disciplined enough to do it.

   I watched the game and realized how England tricked Senegal. Initially, Senegal was playing with fear, caution, discipline and reservation. England understood this and tactically passed possession to Senegal thereby giving them a false sense of possession of the game. This caused Senegal to throw the caution they had had in their closet all this while to the wind. Defenders joined the attack and thereby kept a high line behind.
   This is where their problem started with a counterattack by the English team which they had relied on.

   Standard Rory. Trying to get TAA in for those Liverpool fan boy likes. Sarr had TAA's pants down constantly, when TAA was supposedly the best RB in the world, and would have been a massive liability. Recently, Liverpool didnt win the PL or CL and have fallen off massively with Henderson leading them 🤷‍♂️. I believe a manager good enough to just manage in PL, not talking Pep levels, could form a team good enough to play without Henderson or Mount. However, while we still have Steve Bruce level Southgate, might as well play Henderson just to run around alot, over Mount to run around alot.

   I really don't right comments on youtube often but the talk about how our midfield plays was so bad, we don't play a 4-2-3-1, it's a 4-3-3 so all your analysis is off from the start and anyone who watched ENG vs WAL could see that Henderson was playing higher up the pitch than Rice, so talking about how Rice is more of a box to box to player in the context of England is just wrong. Hard to takes anything said after that seriously because your getting the basics wrong.

   So glad Saka got the start. Rory’s refusal to speak anything good about him is so irritating. He’s possibly the most consistent player in the team across the last 2 years

    The fact that Saka got benched for Hendo because Englands attack wasn’t good enough vs the US is crazy to me. Removing an attacker for hendo won’t solve tbat

    You guys are seriously underestimating Senegal. They are a very quick and physical team, and you want to place TAA (who has often been exposed in defense) to start? Senegal will be quick on the counter and you need a quick a powerful right back like Walker. No Debate

    What I'm disappointed about for England in this tournament, is England not going for it. Fine if you want to play 'controlling' football at least learn how to get the best out of players when others do well
