The American Empire wants to punish this one, then the other one, then another. It should just go off in a corner and punish itself and the rest of the world could thrive. Seriously, I don't see how we can ever restore a reputation for humane decency.

If anything hurt Boeing's brand, it was the 737 Max, not the EU subsidies.

The US just gave Boeing a 14.3 billion dollar bailout after their software screw up killed a few hundred people. Someone has got to pay for the Boeing bailout, why not the EU. I love it when the axis-of-evil (US, NATO, Israel, Saudi Arabia) countries are fighting each other.

    February 29, 2024 at 8:35 pm

Nobody will fly in Boeing because it's not safe for human transport. Regulators cannot ensure safety by blocking air bus

  18. @milesinnz

    February 29, 2024 at 8:35 pm

Boeing gets all sorts of subsidies by it's government.. but hey, we should not talk about that should we ???.. If the USA wants to keep up it's "fortress USA", then great, we can look forward to the USA becoming another North Korea… socially, it is already heading that way…..

  19. @camf7522

    February 29, 2024 at 8:35 pm

So funny, the US Government has been subsidising for years and bailed out Boeing and Boeing Defence many times, let alone all the Federal and State tax breaks.
Any tariffs on Airbus will only result in aircraft being more expensive for US based airlines and revenue for the US government. Tariffs are just a tax on imports that is passed onto consumers and allows local businesses to charge more for their products and make bigger profits which again is passed onto the consumer. The only winners are the US government and US corporations. The losers will be US consumers.

  26. @AnishAsokan

    February 29, 2024 at 8:35 pm

The European companies like Lufthansa, British Airways and AirFrance should stop buying Boring Boeing aircrafts from across the pond. Why can't europe and it's partners use most of Airbus aircrafts.
