Does Europe Have Enough Gas for the Winter?

Published

on

TLDR Business: youtube.com/tldrbusiness

It’s been threatened for a while but Putin has officially shut down Nordstream, the pipeline between Russia and Germany. This seems to be a tactic to use gas as a bargaining chip, but will it work? Or is Europe actually too prepared for Putin’s attack?

Lousiest and most evil news channel, dare not to reveal the truth? Have you asked Sweden about the finding? Scare of exposing US-UK joint operation to sabotage Nordstream 1 and 2? Therefore still blindly loving US-NATO activity to make European suffers when your leader didn't bark when instructed? If yes, continue your way of news reporting and sell your soul to the devil across the North Atlantic Ocean

🤣for decades, Europe has been pumping out cheap gas from Russia, and even in Soviet times, the Soviet Union was considered a reliable supplier of energy resources, and only in the last few years, the stupid European bureaucracy has begun a harmful sanctions war against its already supplier. Now catch the boomerang you euro-clowns

Start saving your cardboard and bubble wrap for insulation. Being homeless taught me to always be prepared and to know how to survive on free garbage. Especially since most others aren't very giving, or strapped for resources themselves. Create a microbiome with the insulation you gather. Make a cardboard fort indoors and ration your fuel to keep the pipes from freezing. Heat it with your body, or with candles. Get a roll of wick and a tin, and catch your wax to remake your candles if you're impoverished badly. I've survived winter outdoors with nothing but winter clothing, a tarp, blanket, candle wick, a tin, and some lighters. Not bragging, just trying to get some panic frozen wheels turning in the heads of the people.

well then theres only one alternative thats to open up the coal mines and in this day and age you cant tell me they cant come up with someway of burning coal cleanly because if they can send a man to the moon of invent electric cars then surly they can burn coal using the same method on a car its called a catalytic converter because i cant see this country running on gas for much longer so come on all you scientific nerds you know you can burn coal cleanly so get off your back sides and start thinking.

The implication that Putin is responsible for the disruption is an oversimplification. Foolhardy energy policies have made countries vulnerable in the first place. Zelensky's own foolhardy decision to take the very step which Russian leaders warned about for decades (inviting NATO) wrecked the long-term working resolution between them. The real cause of the situation is having fools (and in the case of Madame Von der Leyen, sociopaths) in high places.

Nordstream 2 was never operational and never had gas flowing through it,the reason Nordstream 1 is shut down is because there was a leak in the pipe and no way to fix it because EU refused to allow spare parts to come to Russia…..but yeah, its bad Putins fault….besides….I thought EU said they didn't need Russian gas anyways o.O which one is it?

This will be far worse for Russia in the long run than they think. European support for Ukraine in no way threatened Russia. And no, a counter attack risk doesn’t count since Russia volunteered for that risk by attacking. Russia, on the other hand, has struck at Europe despite this. Which means Europe’s mentality will quickly switch from “Support Ukraine’s independence” to “Russia is an enemy” and as things get worse to “Russia is a threat to our existence”.

  32. @midgetydeath

Now about gas for Europe. you can simply find news for all previous years and see what the epic was around the certification of Nord Stream-2. Digging deeper, you can understand that Angela Merkel lobbied hard to build a second gas pipeline, and Putin was extremely cautious about this after 2014's first sanctions. Gazprom also constantly insisted that it was interested in long-term stable contracts and offered rather low prices, even before the outbreak of hostilities on February 24th. But European politicians are talking more and more harshly about sanctions in the energy sector against Russia, about the rejection of contracts and purchases at spot prices, which have increased several times. The whole initiative came only from European politicians who, under pressure from Washington, did not allow the second gas pipeline to be launched. Merkel couldn't do anything.

Let me remind you that Gazprom has been a reliable gas supplier to Europe for several decades, and even during the Caribbean crisis there was no such hysteria
