This is the same all around the world ,the illusion we have freedom and democracy to change things ,is just that, an illusion, you get taken in the direction the Elites want, so we are all living in the same scenario as in Belarus, people just dont want to admit it, because we have two parties that interchange giving the illusion it's a democracy. You only have to look at recent events to see the whole world is a Dictatorship that is now rearing its ugly head, anyone who speaks out is silenced. Constitutions are only as strong as the power that upholds them, and even in a lot of democratic nations that power is a lot weaker than it might seem on the surface. The US is showing that pretty clearly in recent times.
