APOLOGY: Just a quick apology from us: we originally published this video with the thumbnail 'Did Hungary and Poland Betray Ukraine' – as many of you pointed out, this language was too sensationalist/clickbaity, so we've changed the thumb to a more neutral description of events. Apologies, we hope you nonetheless found the video informative!

The tracks on which illegal grain from Ukraine is transported are strewn with bird corpses. They eat grain and die. And they want us to eat it. Crops in Ukraine are ordered to Western holdings, which, thanks to the lack of quality regulations and zero customs duties, earn a lot of money selling this crap in Europe.

First of all, because selling grains to these countries will reduce the price a lot ( which is bad for the profiteers). Secondly, Poland did it to support Ukraine so that they dont sell their own food abroad and focus on their local demands more.

How about making a sort of upmark to the Price of the Grain from ukraine, which then could be redirected to Helping the Ukraine and the EU. Which must be discussed every year until the war ends

As someone from the Czech republic – farmers are really struggling here and it's not even a crucial part if our economy. These people that own smaller plots of land are damned because there's no way to compete with Ukraine's prices. We want to support them but it can't mean that people don't earn enough to have a living because of it. However, we can't just take compensation for it because it puts extra money into the economy causing inflation in a time when we have an inflation crisis. We are bound to follow Hungary and Poland on this because there just isn't a way to solve it otherwise – we wither have farmers in poverty or even higher inflation making everyone here struggle. If western Europe wants to do this then they can take the majority of exports and just make us transport it to them. The thing is – they wanna keep their farmers well and good so they don't want to do that and think we will just deal with all this grain somehow. We here in central and eastern Europe aren't rich enough for these policies in the long term that the west is implementing

The point is, Poland is helping Ukraine as no other country when we are taking under consideration country GDP… Poland has millions of refugees and support them, the EU need to kill our agriculture with cheap and NOT CONTROLLED NOT LIMITED flow of grain into Poland devastating aur food industry. Grain suppose to be re-exported and shipped further but stayed in Poland. Pity that THIS real problem wasn't commented

Around 2 million tones of a technical grain that was not for human consumption was sold to Poland with false pretenses that it was a first class grains and turned into a flour. It was contaminated and under class. A few people were arrested for allowing all this.

Simple solution for this…..all the countries have to do is allow the transport of the grain through the e.u just not the sale. Allow them to head to the ports to send the grain out that they need
@vorosjanos77
March 1, 2024 at 12:00 am
Don't forget, the EU has strict rules in agriculture too!
A lot of herbicides, fertilizers and other chemicals are banned, as well as seed treatment is strictly regulated, e.g. GMO seeds are also banned. Ukrainian wheat does not have to comply with these rules, just as Ukrainian tractors also refuel at a fraction of the price, because there is no strict tax on fuel in Ukraine, which is mandatory in EU countries. Ukrainian wages are also far below EU wages, overall wheat can be produced much cheaper in Ukraine, but its quality is poor and it is full of chemical residues that are banned in the EU. The indignation of EU farmers is so loud because they are banning the use of those effective cheap chemicals that are in Ukrainian wheat. In addition, it is often of poor quality if stored improperly. Polish, Slovak and Hungarian (and of course Austrian, German, French…) wheat is of significantly better quality, yet it is unsellable. Originally, it was only about transit, shipping through Europe, not shipping to Europe!
I know that the Hungarian authorities still allow the transit of Ukrainian wheat, but only in closed, sealed trucks or railway wagons, and upon exiting the border, they check whether the seal is intact, and the papers are checked more strictly than before!

After the war between Russia and Ukraine began, the United States signed a tariff quota agreement with the European Union, agricultural products entered the market, and now cheap Ukrainian grain is affecting the price of American grain, which is what really happened. At the beginning of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the EU blamed Russia for causing the food crisis by restricting Ukrainian food exports. Now the EU has taken the initiative to restrict Ukrainian food exports. Interesting development.All that is said in the mouth is doctrine, but in fact it is business.
@MMerlyn91
March 1, 2024 at 12:00 am
7:03 That's quite a load of nonsense. Just because Central and Eastern Europe don't want to destroy their own agriculture to suit Ukraine's doesn't mean the military backup is in any real danger. All of those countries know that if Russia manages to win, they are possible next targets. One has nothing to do with the other.
