http://www.FTV.com/videos SAO PAULO – Colcci runway shows have always been a Sao Paulo Fashion Week highlight, mainly because it usually stars big names like Ashton Kutcher, who is one of the faces of the brand. Kutcher, in fact, was in attendance at the event, but this year, all eyes were on the 5-month pregnant Brazilian model and Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio, who walked the runway and currently stars in the ad campaign for the brand with Kutcher. She wore two different looks including a loose knit sweater and a color blocked drop-waist gray dress. If the popular Brazilian brand wants to get buzz for their label, they certainly know how to do it but do their clothes have anything to say? While the aesthetic was minimal, the Fall/Winter 2012 clothes did make a statement with fabrics like leather, denim, and knit. This line was inspired by the Orient Express, in a sophisticated fashion. The Orient Express was a long distance passenger train that ran from 1883 to 2009. Highlights of the collection included geometric shapes and a variety of skirts.

Appearances: Alessandra Ambrosio, Lais Ribeiro, Daiane Conterato, Ana Claudia Michels, Barbara Fialho, Bruna Tenorio, Debora Muller

SONGZIO: Armored Modernism for S/S 27 | Paris Men Fashion Week

Published

Uncover the avant-garde silhouettes and intricate textures of the spring/summer 2027 collection of Songzio on FashionTV!

Presented at Palais de Tokyo during Paris Fashion Week on June 24th, the Songzio show offers a striking exploration of resilience, internal composure, and protective elegance. Creative director Jay Song reinterprets historical Korean archetypes into futuristic, living sculptures designed to shield and empower the wearer in an unpredictable world.

The collection bridges traditional Korean hanbok elements with radical, modern garbing architecture. Key details include reimagined git (traditional removable collars), deep slit necklines, and dramatic bias-cut paneling that balance structural tension with fluid motion.

Swelling raglan-dolman sleeves, cocoon silhouettes, and high-waisted shell-like leather trousers create a striking interplay between upper-body tension and lower-body volume. A rich tactile dialogue emerges through contrasting materials – juxtaposing habotai silk, organza, and linen with metallic surfaces, shimmery vinyl, and intentionally crushed leathers.

Rooted in dramatic black and ivory, the palette comes alive with painterly flashes of sage, citron, berry, and ink.
