With Russia’s invasion of Ukraine going poorly, some foreign policy experts have begun speculating about the potential collapse of the Russian state. But is this just baseless sensationalism? Or is there a chance Russia could become a failed state?

The West of the Russian Federation, its borders with Europe has almost zero threat but things don't look so good in the South with states choosing independence from Moscow and in the Far East with the China superpower and Japan demanding recovery of their territory from Russia and the access to vital resources and strategic positions.
Russia is in decline isolated from European markets and bloodied by a stupid bloody, costly war of attrition that it cannot win in Ukraine.
Putin has doomed Russia's future.
@Parthornax
March 3, 2024 at 11:27 am
I agree with Ukraine. If Russia collapses into smaller nations, they will be significantly easier to control and sanction without direct military intervention. I admit that this is not a perfect plan. China could invade or influence these new former Russian nations. Potentially even annex the parts with access to oil. There is also the possibility that these new nations might turn on each other like a pack of wolves. Which is a problem because some of these nations might have access to nukes. (Assuming they even work.)
But the alternative is the status quo of Russian imperialism and fascism. They are probably hoping that if Russia stays Russian, they will simply shrink and become a North Korea like hermit state. But if this happens then Russia and all of its resources will become a Chinese puppet state. This would make china completely self sufficient and eliminate most of its economic and logistical weaknesses. Then China would sooner rather then later invade Taiwan. In this scenario, sanctions and embargo will not work. So the west will have only 2 choices, Let the Taiwan fall and let china become the new world order., or WW3.
Just my opinion but I agree with Ukraine.

Try doing an update on this info today. Russian economy since the sanctions vs the oil/gas price caps assure Russian collapse. Their hidden statistics will prevail. Russian collapse is inevitable. This channel is not as accurate as INSIDE RUSSIA where REAL data shows the facts of statistics. Russia needs the war to stop or it will collapse within the next few years. Sanctions are just now REALLY STARTING TO BITE. There is a reason Russia stopped giving economic statistics to certain multinational groups—they’re dying a slow death. Food stamps now? Pooptin said that would never happen—oops.

There is so much missing, Russia has no Tech it is highly depending on the West, Russia is also running out of fossil ressources why we see such a push for the ukrain where they can get more cheap fossils since the own ressources are not that cheap to extract. Also Russia has no man power left, they run out of people, they have the worst life expectenci of all industrial countries /in europe. Sooo many points missing. Also dont take votes to serious in russia, since its a dictatorship.

Quoting a known war criminal like H. Kissinger doesn't look good. He is a vile piece of work and should have been thrown in prison years ago for his actions/politics in Chile, Bangladesh, Vietnam and many other places.
Whatever he writes and says should always be viewed extremely critically and always in the light of his narcissism, willingness to see people suffer and his extreme self interest.
