As I Bulgarian I find it very funny how you missed the part that the "anti corruption parties" (which are pretty corrupt as well) such as "We Continue the Change" and "Democratic Bulgaria" promised their voters that they will never ever make a government together with GERB and lied to hundreds of thousands of their voters. You can make your conclusions what other lies they have said.

Bulgaria being flagship NATO vassal, what an example of western "democracy" asking foreign ambassadors for instruction for foreign policy and ignoring their "subjects" opinion. Who wouldn't want to be part of such shining democracy block the EU represents.

Thanks to such channels I can finally learn what happened to my country. In Bulgaria, to find a trustworthy media or channel to do such summary is impossible. I am part of these huge protests videos, I was really hoping for a change that year, we were on the streets for around 150 days. 5 elections later, as a 25 woman, I am seriously thinking of moving abroad. Thanks to this video, I actually do not see it that dramatic as I thought it is, though. Thank you for this.
P.S. Slavi Trifonov is a joke. A 90s one. A comedian afterwards.

March 3, 2024 at 7:37 pm
The current coalition is an absolute abomination. It betrayed their own electorate. The Harvards and their anti-corruption coalition in the end embraced GERB and thus became a part of the scheme. The leader of the Bulgarian Socialist party called that coalition a coalition of the gentlemans with one arm referring to previous statements of GERB and PP that they would rather lose an arm than shake hands and make a coalition. Well now we are back to politics as usual aka a theater displayed to the voter while corruption practices flourish. I do hope this government fails because it does not represent the majority of the voters and thus its simply not democratic.

Once upon a time the last great king of Bulgaria died. Hundreds of thousands of people visited the biggest Bulgarian cathedral to mourn him. Screaming, crying and whispering: "King, to whom do you leave us?" This question we can ask again and again. Corrupt, after corrupt, after corrupt rule the country. The sad story? This king was of German origin. Nonetheless he was a bigger Bulgarian than all after him combined.
