At simply 19-years-old Greece’s Elina Tzengko won javelin gold at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich.
Tzengko’s toss of 65.81 m was an individual finest and she defeated Adriana Vilagos and Barbora Spota that took silver and bronze specifically.
It was absolutely one for the ages with Tzengko ages 19 years and 352 days, Vilagos 18 years and 230 days and Spotakova 41 years and 51 days!
