So in this video, we unpack what the new EU ruling means, when it will come into force and if Apple is right.

Lightning is great! Itโ€™s half of why I switched to iOS.. it just holds up better Long term. I have lightning devices that date back to 2015, were charged daily for years and still feel great. I canโ€™t say the same for usbC. Frankly itโ€™s barely better than micro. Could lightning use an upgrade? I donโ€™t care personally but sure.. do we need a one cable standard? Nah.. would it be nice? Sure. But C ainโ€™t the one. Again, itโ€™s a fragile, barely better than micro port. I donโ€™t know why everyone is creaming themselves over it now.

The environment argument is dumb too.. do you really think a cable a year per person is going to be a significant cut in waste? Fucking really?
