Many misunderstand things were said in this video. Most of the people who protest, were only anti-goverment opposition. They permanetly looking for reason to protest, They doesnt metter if abortion is legal or not,. They want to be popular and take back power.

  3. @domo3699

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

Abortion is first degree murder and should be treated by law as such. Period.

Bad court decision. Makes no sense according to their own logic. Also, fun fact, but nowhere in the Bible is abortion outlawed. In fact, the only two instances that relate to abortion and the unborn in the Bible, God seems in favor of it.

  5. @rebeccaanderson5626

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

Very few in Poland want abortion to be completely acceptable as in the United States however the new legislation basically illegalize abortions of deformed embryos , pregnancy is that occurs because of incest and rape etc . This is unacceptable

How funny that they want to protect life but they won't consider sexual education nor protecting the life of a woman.

Human Rights vs Human Rights. One of the most heated types of debate.

I kinda agree the first laws of abortion in Poland
    It's pretty reasonable

How is abortion a woman's right again?

  10. @andreikovacs3476

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

I like to think of myself as conservative and religious, but moving the abortion treshold so that not even those caused by rape or which are life threatening can be done seems unright.
Abortion should be restricted unless it's a threat to her health, would result in a genetically defective child, or if it has come upon by an unseemly manner. Then, it should be allowed. I do not condone fundamentalism as even the founders of a religion envisioned the precepts as result of a cause, and if a situation changes, the religion should reflect that too.
The ancient question of fundamentalism vs heresy.

Hey, i loved the video as it shows problem of my country to the greater international public. Could you also make a video on Poland and Hungary threatening to veto the eu budget and this post-covid fund, which name i don't know in English?

  12. @annab1855

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

Poland is a joke, no wonder there are protests! Worry about your own body and let other people do whatever they want with theirs 🙄

  13. @jantala3243

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

I think its sad that the roman Catholics in Poland feel they have to impose the bible on non-Christians, just because it's legal doesn't mean that you have to do it.

  14. @bad307207

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

Not the point of this video but… Problem with protests is they don't tell you what the majority actually want, just how vocal/active (or unemployed) the protesters are… In a democracy we should listen to protests but be prepared to tell them NO! You could probably rally 100,000 anti-vaxers doesn't make them popular…

  16. @antonioc3743

The 98% of legal abortions include "because i don't want the baby" is misleading to say only the medical reasons and not the personal reasons

  17. @Vielenberg

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

Three things should be added. 1) The Constitutional Tribunal is fully controlled by the government, so the protesters consider the verdict an act of the government. 2) The vast majority of Poles – about 65% are against any changes to the law – both liberalization or making it more strict. Only about 15% support repealing the fetus defect exception (what the Tribunal has done) and the remaining 20% support the 'on demand' abortion. 3) It is not a coincidence that the Tribunal has given the verdict now. The authorities were expecting that the verdict will cause uproar but they thought that mass protest shall not be organised due to COVID. They were wrong. So their current strategy is to blame the protesters for the COVID outbreak.

My body, my choice. I wouldn't want to live in a country that restricts my rights on this.

  21. @beniaminosani2719

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

Reading these comments it would seem that PiS is not the majority party with a percentage of almost 50%, an absolute rarity in Europe. Of course they have the possibility to decide to reduce access to the "right" of a medical procedure of last resort and controversial as abortion, which after years is still opposed by hundreds of millions in Europe alone, let's not talk about the other continents. And this has nothing to do with perhaps objective problems in the rule of law.

Democracy is not a competition for those who clamor louder, maybe inside Chuches, places that open up deserve the respect of any European with a brain and a real education.

  22. @TomekSw

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

    Jebać kościół! Jebać PiS!

  23. @notak4046

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

It is worth noting that despite the protests, most people do not want the law to be tightened or relaxed. (from various studies, support for the current law as the one in 1993-2020 varies from 60-70%).

  27. @Gardstyle35

Dont call it women Rights. Nobody has the right to end another humans life. That baby, no matter if u call it fetus or whatnot has a completly unique DNA and will be able to develope into a fully functioning human beeing if not killed.

If it would not be a human, why should any men have to support a women if she decides to become the child? If its her Decision beause its her Body – than it should be HIS decision because its HIS Money.

  28. @HeniekGnida

    March 4, 2024 at 4:53 am

It need to be mentioned that the co-called ruling of the Constitutional Court is not a ruling. In Poland there is only a facade of a Constitutional Court, with the majority of PiS-instructed puppets, not independent judges.
